Favorite face wash product! Having a hard time finding in the store, so grateful I can still find it on Amazon. This is the only face wash. I swear by if you have trouble acne, you can’t get rid of.

I prefer the non-scrub version of this, but it's hard to find now, and the scrub version is essentially the same thing with some not-really-exfoliating beads in it. I love salicylic acid for treating breakouts, and 2% is a pretty good concentration, and I find it non-irritating and non-drying in a rinse-off formula. I have dry skin that's prone to hormonal, monthly breakouts, and this wash really helps my skin in staying clear without drying it out or causing irritation (but I'm generally good with skincare acids). I usually put it on when I first get in the shower and then rinse it off after a couple minutes, sort of like a treatment mask. I still need a cleansing balm or oil cleanser to remove makeup, but I always followup with this. It's gentle enough that I can use it daily with no issues. I've also started my nephew on this to treat his teenage acne and shaving irritation, and it's making a noticeable difference (along with a Colleen Rothschild acne spot treatment - the Gentle & Clear one). I think that the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Scrub is one of the best on the market for face wash, and it performs better than more expensive washes I've tried.

Using it every other day and following with a good moisturizer has worked best for me.

The texture has just enough grit to feel like it’s doing work without wrecking your skin barrier. It’s oil-free, rinses clean, and pairs well with my minimalist skincare approach.
