Got this five years ago and quite liked it at the time but forgot about it. I have just rediscovered it and now think it’s amazing. I strained the muscles in my back during a gym workout and this thing set me straight. It plugs in to mains and is very powerful. The massaging nodes heat up but not a huge amount. Would be even better if it got a bit hotter but then again that would probably be a fire risk. I have to say this is a great gadget for giving a strong massage to your back or shoulders/neck. Also the first times I used it was in a chair and I find it is actually way better when I’m sitting propped up on bed or even lying down with it under my neck. I find it helps me sleep too because the movement is quite hypnotic and it’s intense enough to make me stop thinking about things and just relax. Not especially noisy. It does whirr a bit but I can’t see how it could be any quieter and still have that level of power.

5 minutes after using this, the cramps in my back disappeared. I could not believe it. And I haven't even tried the heat bit. Better than a masseuse. I wish I had bought this years ago.

Was recommended to me by friend but truthfully wasn’t too hopeful.I previously bought a self heating neck/back wrap said to help with pain and it was next to useless but friend was raving about this and as I have bad pain on a daily basis I decided to try ( I already have a box full of back braces/self heating wraps ect that were and are of no use and waste of money) So when this arrived I didn’t even rush to remove from box.My daughter took it out and had first play and the giggles and sighs coming from chair had me intrigued.So I claimed it.Its plugs into the mains and has a on/off switch on cable ( like a lamp) I positioned it behind my back against back of settee and sat back and it’s quite a shock how powerful it is.There seems to be revolving balls inside and they turn massaging your back and is really quite a strong massage it also heats up ( it’s a warm but comfortable heat,the diagram on box makes it appear will be very hot but it’s not) It took a few readjustments of the device before I got it just in the right place on my back but once I did it really started to feel as though it was do some good.I have been use this device 2/3 times a day for up to 30min and I’m not doing yoga or the limbo but I am feeling a benefit.I don’t wake up every morning in such bad pain and I can step out of bed rather than roll out (which I really had to do some mornings) and I can stand for longer before my back pain forces me to sit down.I would have given 5stars but I think it does have few minor set backs.The fact it’s plugged into mains means you have to be sat near a plug socket ( it would be so much better if you were able to charge it then remove wire and it does take a little while and a lot of reposition and trail and error to discover what works best for you.I use it during breakfast and lunch in high backed dining chairs ( these force me to sit correctly with a straight back and no slouch and this seems to be position were the massager hits just the right spot and gives me most benefit.I have given 4stars but it is very good and has been very beneficial to me I just feel 5stars makes it sound perfect and I believe improvements made would take it to perfection.The price is amazingly good as Iv paid similar prices for products that gave me no relief and I wish I’d discovered this product years ago.I am in dedt to my friend for recommending this to me.I hope to be use and benefit from this for long time ( and il be first to purchase if rechargeable model is ever made lol)

I bought this for my neck which I have trouble with, I have a dystonic tremor caused by muscle damage. I got a lot of neck pain and tightness as well as my recently diagnosed tremor. This massager is so so good, really relieves the tightness in my neck and since using now every day for a few weeks my tremor is not so prominent! It's really good and relaxing. I got it half price on a daily deal so even better! You do have to sit in a certain position to get it comfortable and working on the right 'spot's. The straps are not very long though so they don't fit around the back of my chair, other than that if you have neck trouble I can highly recommend it. The heat bit isn't very hot, more of a warm, I do love it though and look forward to using it at the end of the day, really relaxing.

Had one of these for several years. It was very good for the lower back and the heat element was helpful. Eventually it broke down and I got a new one. Oh dear. They have changed something. Now if you use it with the heating on, it stops working after a few minutes. The red light is still on but there is no motor action. I am not sure if this is a fault or they have introduced a cut out. So unless it changes soon, it is going back.

I’m a building manager. At times I sit for long period of time. Got this for my office chair to help blood circulation mainly. Exercise, drinking a lot of fluids and posture are some ways. One other one is a massage. I use it on different parts. Mainly my back, I also run it up and down on my thighs and calf. In general I do feel better, I feel the leg tingle after using it on my legs. Funny feeling. Even the back, there are times I feel it’s painful, which I notice go away shortly after use. But generally I don’t suffer much from back pains. Two things I feel needs to be addressed to make this product better. The strap needs to be bigger or an extension should be provided. I can’t strap it onto my chair. The switch feels a little cheap.

Worked really well and made a big difference to my lower back. Unfortunately the motor became faulty after 3 months so needed to find another option. Not as durable as I had hoped.
