I like this lens in that it's easy to use and works on my iPhone 8 with a case attached. It also gives nice clear images. The downside is that this lens is quite large. That helps it fit with my case still attached (no vignetting), but it is kind of bulky on a sleek phone. Lastly, I had asked for a focal length before I purchased and never got an answer. I went ahead and ordered it, but I don't think it's a 3x lens - at least on an iPhone 8. The 8 has a 28mm internal camera. My guess is that this is a 60mm lens. Any chance someone could confirm?

I bought this in the hopes of taking some sideline photos for football. It’s not particularly zooming, and doesn’t really help much. I ended up not using it as much as I thought

A comparison of pictures with the telephoto lens and pictures without the telephoto lens (but 'pinching' to digitally zoom in on the image taken) creates basically the same picture - except that with the telephoto lens the edges are blurry. Why did I buy this? And now I can't get any response back from the company (after many tries) with the hope of returning it. That doesn't bode well. It feels well made - I just don't get how it doesn't give a better picture... like a telephoto lens is supposed to do.

Seems like a great idea, but the phone already has a 3-5 time zoom. It will not pixelate up to 2 or 3 times zoom. So the question is if I use the Kase 3 times zoom lens and then zoom to 3 times zoom will it multiply to 9 times zoom or will it burr?

This teleconverter is NOT 3X. I measured the magnification with high accuracy equipment and the lens will magnify only 1.72x. You will be disappointed. Carry a small point & shoot and you'll get far better results than any phone camera. The phone was mounted on a tripod and a photo was taken of an object. The 3X teleconverter was installed and another photo was taken of the same object. I compared the two images and measured them with a digital caliper. Without the lens installed the object measured 48.06mm. With the lens installed the object measured 82.74mm. Yes, there was magnification, but only by a factor of 1.72X not 3X. This is very minor magnification.

Bought to use with an s22ultra. Used the middle lens. Some vignetting on wide angle, which is fine. I was hoping to push the magnification to get more detail using the phone's hi res setting. Some of the gains in magnification are ruined due to chromatic abberation. It does work somewhat. I was expecting a little more magnification from 3x, but judging from comparisons, it looks to be fairly close to 3x. Mainly it's the chromation that bothers me. This old photographer can't take the blues and reds.
