First one I received didn't work and neither did second one..horrible product
I just received my order for MobiCam DXR Touch baby Monitor . The camera will not turn on at all! After plugging the camera into an outlet, the red light turns on, but no matter how long or short I hold down the power button, the camera will not power on and the light will not turn green, making the whole system unusableWorse thing about it is, I contacted Mobi to ask them how to resolve the issue, and they told me I could ship it back to them and once they receive, they will send a replacement. But they want me to pay for the shipping! For a $250-$300 product that did not work out of the box, they want me to pay for the shipping for an unusable product! Rep on the phone said that's what the owner of the company wanted. It's bad enough they would not ship a new product right away and I'd have to wait the 2 weeks for the turnaround for me to ship, them to receive, process, and then ship another out, but they won't even cover the shipping.Funny thing, is there is a note in the box that asks for you not to contact the seller if something is wrong and to contact Mobi directly. Guess they want to hide all the flaws from the Mobi dealers, yet Mobi refuses to fix the problem.Very disappointed.***UPDATE*** 10/01/13I contacted the seller, and they were nice enough to ship a second MobiCam DXR Touch baby monitor to replace the defective 1st one. I decided to give Mobi company a second try since I had never owned their products before. I shouldn't be surprised, but the 2nd one I received is defective as well. The sound will barely come through the monitor. Even with the volume set on 9, the highest setting, and the camera volume set on the highest setting. In order to hear anything, I have to literally hold my ear to the back of the monitor...and that is in a silent room. This does not make for a good baby monitoring system. After 2 failed products, I would strongly advise against purchasing this product.

Great Product. Still needs some Tweeks
I ordered this product for my first baby. I chose this because of the reviews allover the internet. Indeed is a great product but here are my comments.Cons:Material and construction seems cheap.I have not identified yet what cause interference some times. So 10% of the time I saw my little daughter with interference.Touch controls sometimes (5% of the time) fails.Batteries charge could be better.Pros:Great Night Vision.Great range. Most of the rime the image is neat and clear.I feel really happy with this product.,

Lacks quality for purchase price!
I held out for this camera after 4 different people tried to steer me in another direction of a camera they had purchased when they had children. Every time we visit one of those families, I kick myself for not listening to them. The camera lacks good video and audio quality. The picture is grainy and almost always on night vision. The lack of quality makes the 2x zoom absolutely useless. Once zoomed in, you are still unable to see your little one moving or breathing. There is always a soft buzzing while the camera is on as well. The functions of the handheld device are a pain to navigate and the noise interference is unbearable. I will definitely be purchasing a different device to monitor our baby. I don't feel this baby monitor is safe and the ease of use is disappointing. Look elsewhere.

Picture not as clear as expected and battery not included for camera
I was dissapointed when I discovered the rechargeable battery for the camera was not included and had to be ordered separately. The picture on the monitor is not as sharp and clear as I expected. I thought it would be comparable to pictures you take with an average phone or camera but it's quality is inferior especially when you zoom. The touch functionality is lagging and it takes several attempts before the device reacts. For the money it cost I expected a superior product

Needs Improvements...
I was very eager to receive this camera. After trying 3 other cameras with no luck I thought I had finally found a solution. A monitor that would support up to 4 cameras! When it arrived, I was disappointed. The cord was about 3 or 4 feet long. When I mounted the camera on the wall above my baby's crib, the cord didn't even reach the outlet! The cameras themselves were bulky and did not turn in as many angles as I hopes. The video monitor had a strange rubber stand that wouldn't stay in place. All in all a HUGE disappointment. The concept is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.Ultimately I returned the product with no hassle and received a full refund. After trying MobiCam, WiFi Baby and IBaby (the wireless WiFi monitors didn't work in our 3,000 square foot home... When they did the lag in video was terrible.), I finally went back to the tried and true Summer Infant.I purchased the Summer Infant Dual View Digital Color Video Monitor (expandable up to 4 cameras - comes with 2 in the package) for $279 on Amazon. The monitors worked as expected and were typical summer infant quality. They also do not use Wi-Fi. My only complaint is the video was not nearly as clear as my previous summer infant monitors - however it does the job. In addition, even though the screen is split, you can only hear audio from one selected room. As a bandaid fix, we have a separate Audio only monitor in my son's room. Bottom line, ok solution but still not perfect. My experience with video baby monitors has been extremely frustrating. Someone, please develop a "Mix and Match" video baby monitor system where you can pick:1. Number of Cameras (up to 4 would be great!)2. Number of Videos (one is a pain in the but)3. Size of Video Monitor (one size does NOT fit all... We love a huge 7 inch in the living room and a smaller portable unit for our bedroom)4. Make them compatible with iPhones, Androids, iPads, etc. - Don't make us pick EITHER a monitor or our iPhone. Sometimes you need both!!!5. Improved Audio where you can hear all rooms at onceWhoever develops this system will make a fortune!

Don’t waste your money.
Didn’t last. I bought two screens and three cameras and spent a ton of money on these for them to be junk. They didn’t reach even to my next door neighbors house. And screens and charge cords all busted not long after purchasing.
