The TELEPROMPTER PAD iLight PRO 12” is a sturdy, foldable rig with a 60/40 beam-splitter glass, remote, and app. Smooth scrolling, clear reflection—great for YouTube, presentations, or Zoom.

I bought this to use for a band reunion show after 34 years in case they couldn't remember some lyrics. It was pretty easy to set up and it worked great with the remote control. It really came in handy and I'm happy with the purchase. I didn't give 5 stars because the base was slightly bent on mine, and I had to try and bend it back myself.

We've had more than one teleprompter and needed a new one fast as we had given up on the complexity of some that we had in the past. This one is simple, well designed and it works. Wanted originally the one by Creative Juice, but they sold out. Poured over Amazon to evaluate and this one was impressive. I wanted one that the camera height could be adjusted as the Creative Juice one. This one is not, but it has not been a problem. Staff wanted one that could be put up easily and in a tough case. This does not come in a tough case, but it's practical. We'll likely use one of the old Pelican cases that came with the old prompters to keep this in. It's an easy buy and the included Android/iOS app is really good. So too is the mini-controller, which I did not expect to be as good as it is. This is a buy again should I need to.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I do have some questions on the usage and operation for my podcasting work. 1) The remote is still problematic in usage. Not all the functions appear to be operating. More on this following. 2) How to copy/paste the bulk of the material to the APP itself? I have made it to the "onedrive.live.com" on my iPad, but cannot then move the entirety of the material to the APP. How to do this? In simple terms and steps, please. 3) The general but required directions of the entire assembly and usage are obviously missing or are very unclear. This setup is not nearly as easy to complete as you state. Please provide even obvious steps to ensure that no steps are missed, which causes a great deal of confusion. 4) The placement of the hood on the teleprompter itself is not possible given the directions that you provide. Thankfully, I do not need the hood and can get by without it. But for others, that may invoke a return. 5) And finally, not all of the noted steps correctly match the actual usage of the various parts of the product. This also leads to a great deal of confusion and angst. Again, more and simpler steps might solve this to ensure nothing is missed by the purchaser. Particularly regarding the remote. 6) This is as far as I've been able to come - more questions or explanations may be needed in later, completed steps. Your teleprompter product may indeed be highly sought after, but not in its present form. Out of a 5-star possibility, I would give it a 2 based on its complexity and missing setup/usage information. The noted videos are not informative, so they are useless. After receiving a lengthy response from the seller, this is my reply and action one day later: Thank you for your prompt response. I have worked steadily since receiving your reply to complete and utilize your teleprompter system. Unfortunately, your responses fell far short of my listed requests. Nothing of what you advised me to do worked, which were my specific requests No's 3 and 5. Your "answers" were simply a rehash of the existing information, almost all of which doesn't work as claimed. I requested ADDITIONAL and obviously MISSING information or procedures that could be followed and that would work - neither of which were provided. So I've made the decision to return the teleprompter in its original packaging for a full refund. And I'll truthfully rate your teleprompter as a "2" out of "5" due to the enormous shortcomings in the directions and claims by you. I'll emphatically recommend that the potential purchaser look elsewhere for their teleprompter setup. Further, please restate your claims in a truthful manner so as to advise potential purchasers of the many difficulties to be encountered with your teleprompter system. Thank you for your time. UPDATE: The seller now states that his previous reply included setup and operational info for a different teleprompter version. That would explain the continued enormous difficulties in the setup and operation. I’ve already returned the teleprompter for a full refund. But I’ll raise the overall rating to a “3” and remove my “look elsewhere” recommendation. Future purchasers should immediately receive contact from the seller if they encounter any difficulties.

Great item! and Id Love to give it a higher review, however, it arrived in tight packaging, seemed perfect protection, however, the glass had very BAD and Deep etches on the backside... These aren't little scratches either, im talking Gouges! the manufacturers QC is Horrible and needs to be fired. This is Not worth $200

I troubled over this purchase for a long time, and tried to rig up all kinds of solutions with picture glass and frames and whatever. I finally bit the bullet and ordered this one after reading a lot of reviews. It was $190 including tax. Assembled in less than 15 minutes. Installed the app and I was reading a script immediately using my iPad 10.2". Even in bright lights the glass is very easy to read. The app works fine - nothing special, but all I need it to do is reverse the script and make it easy to scroll and pause. The construction is all metal, with the glass plate. Be aware that this plus my Lumix GH5 makes for a pretty heavy load. So think about what tripod you're going to use. I have it on an inexpensive Dolica travel tripod, but I'm moving it to a Bogen Manfrotto. I'm a real user, I paid for this, and it's propelling me from a podcaster for my consulting business to a video presenter. I look forward to using video presentations to help my clients on 30 - 60 minute topics, and traveling less. Very happy with this purchase!

Very decent quality - and easiness of usage. Works great with the camera. Not very useful for shooting on iPhone. Shooting on iPhone is not convenient - because of reflections on the screen, hard to fit the phone in with the camera in the center. Few suggestions. Improve the front iPad/iPhone holder for text. Make it mobile so you can adjust it. 2nd. Improve the cloth. Make it more flexible. Most of people are using smartphones and small cameras. It’s hard to fit it in and also close the cloth to keep minimal light inside.

I due supporti che compongono la struttura sono completamente in metallo. La cosa che mi ha stupito più di tutte è la qualità della superficie riflettente: essa riflette il testo molto chiaramente anche grazie alla possibilità di inclinare la superficie per permettere alla luce essere riflessa in maniera ottimale in base alla posizione del telefono o del tablet che andrete ad utilizzare. Il montaggio è davvero semplice e intuitivo, ma se si necessita aiuto sono presenti delle guide sul sito internet dell’azienda. Un particolare di tutto rispetto è la presenza di un sistema di alloggiamenti creato per fissare la nostra camera con la vite standard per evitare cadute accidentali. Mentre nella parte inferiore potremo fissare il teleprompter al cavalletto sempre con la vite standard. Avremo così una struttura leggera, resistente, trasportabile in ogni angolo della casa in grado di facilitarci la vita nella registrazione dei nostri video. La configurazione del telecomando NON è stata esattamente rapida e indolore, ma il sito è provvisto di una guida molto chiara quindi alla fine sono riuscito a configurare il tutto. Il piccolo telecomando è comodo, e con le personalizzazioni giuste funziona ma la vera manna dal cielo è stata la possibilità di impostare un altro dispositivo iOS come telecomando.. quindi.. perché non usare direttamente l’applewatch? Evito così di tenere in mano un dispositivo esterno e quando ne ho la necessità, grazie all’applicazione per Watch Os riesco in un attimo a stoppare, tornare indietro.. insomma a gestire tutto, direttamente dal polso. In questo modo la registrazione dei video è più agevole, anche il telecomando è fattibile, ma preferisco di gran lunga alzare il braccio e premere l’orologio, anche senza guardare. Per il genere di video che faccio io il Teleprompter è consigliato, non lo utilizzo sempre, ma visto che comunque scrivo sempre uno script o comunque delle frasi chiave prima di registrare, riesco ad utilizzarlo e mi fa piacere farlo.

Absolutely perfect in all regards for our use. Out of the box, quick 5 minute assembly and it's up and running. I did not use the recommended apps for either iOS or Android as I had a paid version of Teleprompter Pro from Play store. Remote works very well. However, since I did not use the recommended apps and I knew going in that I would have to tinker around with the remote to figure out button mapping. I still works perfect though. There is no double reflection of text on the class when talent stands back further than 5'. Fits my Canon SL2, SL3, RP and Blackmagic 4K cameras. Did not affect the ISO - well i didn't notice a difference as we have the subject very well lit. Fit's Apple iPAD mini, Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy S6 no problem. Even has a mount included for your cell phone if you are going to use that as a camera. If you are looking for a Teleprompter that is sturdy and well built, this is it.

A peine reçu je l’ai assemblé grâce à la vidéo sur YouTube. Super facile et rapide! J’ai fait un petit test et oh mon Dieu, pourquoi je n’ai pas acheté ça avant?! Aucun reflet, c’est parfaitement adapté à ma Sony mais fonctionne aussi avec mobile/tablette pour filmer. J’utilise mon iPhone pour le texte, tout marche très bien. La télécommande fonctionne à merveille. J’ai vu que sur d’autres produits similaires il pouvait y avoir un problème de vitesse de lecture, ici pas du tout. La télécommande a plein de fonctionnalités. L’application est très facile d’utilisation, on peut regler la taille du script et surtout les marges, ce qui me permet de ne pas avoir les yeux qui défilent de droite à gauche sur une très grande ligne pour lire et c’est donc hyper fluide au rendu. Je l’ai monté sur un petit trépied que je pose sur mon bureau et je n’ai eu aucun souci, j’avais vraiment besoin de pouvoir utiliser le trépied que j’ai déjà car convient parfaitement à la hauteur qu’il me faut pour filmer de mon bureau. Vraiment ravie d’avoir investi dans ce produit qui répond parfaitement à mes attentes!

Hi Leute, Wer kennt es nicht, man ist eigentlich redegewandt, lustig und unterhaltsam! Geht die Kamera an, so ist man auf einmal ein komplett anderer Mensch. Die Sätze kommen nicht anständig aus dem Mund, man stottert und wirkt wie ein Vollidiot. So ist es auch leider in meinen Videos gewesen. Zusätzlich wurde die Arbeit deutlich schwerer, da man ja viel Aufwendiger die Videos schneiden musste. Das hat natürlich auch viel Zeit gekostet. Es war klar und ein Teleprompter musste her. Also habe ich mir von TeleprompterPAD diesen Teleprompter hier besorgt. Deutlich günstiger als gedacht, für mich sind die 178€ hier gut investiert. Bestellt und nach einem Tag hatten ich diesen Teleprompter bei mir Zuhause. Der Teleprompter von Teleprompterpad ist sehr robust und hat eine sehr gute Qualität. Die Handhabung ist wirklich einfach. Der Aufbau ist recht easy, ein paar Schrauben hier ein paar Schrauben da und zack ist der Teleprompter Einsatz bereit. Ich besitze ein Ipad 9,7“ und das Ipad passt sehr gut in die Halterung. Antirutschtpads sind ebenfalls im Lieferumfang enthalten, solche Details mag ich persönlich sehr. Die Fernbedienung lässt sich easy via Bluetooth verbinden. Einfach Bluetooth einschalten, die App installieren, Fernbedienung einschalten und mit dem Ipad verbinden. Schon kann man alles steuern. Ist eben eine Fernbedienung. Die Schrift ist sehr gut zu lesen, wenn man den Teleprompter im Einsatz hat. After renting different models of teleprompters I decided to purchase my own to avoid the time wasting of collecting and taking it back and of course the rental itself. I've been using this for over a month now in many occasions and is just brilliant. Very simple product but works well, take a couple of minutes to assemble and easily handle my Sony FS-5 + Metabones + Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens (about 4kg). All parts are made of aluminum, making it solid. It doesn't fit my iPad Pro 12.9" but it is perfect for the iPad Air 10.9" I purchased specifically for using with this. To avoid any accident I fixed the ipad cover in the teleprompter and just need to fit the ipad to use. I can then remove the teleprompter from the tripod and carry everything assembled between shots using the camera handle. To disassemble you have to unscrew 4 screws and reverse the top plate to fit the bag provided. As it has sharp corners, the bag shows that it will not last long and will be replaced in the next 12 months I guess. The remote control is very well built and needs two AAA batteries but it doesn't work with the Teleprompter app, what is a shame as I also film myself and you have to manually set the app every time instead. I have no idea why it is included as it proved to be useless for its purpose. The glass is very thin and fragile as expected, has no color shifting but produce a veil if used against a light source. As a professional camera man I strongly recommend this product.
