What An Amazing Product!!!
I ordered this product about a month ago. I have taken it faithfully every day at one twice a day. I purchased it for my heart. Not only has it helped my heart tremendously, but it did something that I was not expecting. I have alopecia. I lost my hair in the top due to being on hypertension medicine for over 14 years. I have had to wear a wig for a long time. One day, while reading a book, I shifted position and rested my head in the palm of my hand. I begin rubbing it when I felt a thickness there. I was like wow, could this be the Omega 3? I then googled it and discovered that Omega 3s are indeed very good to take for hair grow. Moreover, I do not wake up with morning stiffness anymore. When you're 50 years old, this is one benefit that you greatly appreciate, especially if you were in a car accident that caused a injury to your C3. I know there are a lot of brands out there. But I am very happy with the results I am getting with this product. I swallow one pill at at time. There is absolutely no fishy taste or burp. I know that I'm suppose to post pros and cons as a good reviewer, but I honestly have no cons. I'm sorry. I will say this though. I am telling you what I've experienced with this product. I don't know how it will work for you. Like Spirulina, I will be taking Omega 3s for the rest of my life. You owe it to yourself to try it at least once. I am due for blood work and cholesterol level testing in January. I will update you as to my results as my cholesterol level is high and I hope to report that it is good.

Can't beat it for Omega-3 Quality & Cost per 1000mg!!
I really love these fish oil capsules, and I will be a loyal user as long as the formula doesn't change (and pricing remains competitive, of course). I am a big believer in Omega-3's and was looking to take upwards of ~2000mg per day. I have multiple degrees, one in the sciences, but I am certainly no M.D., so don't follow my example on dosage without doing proper research and getting educated assistance. But my point is, when you want to get 1800-2000mg in a day, fish oil caps become VERY expensive very quickly. However after I crunched all the numbers, these pills won in cost-effectiveness against all the other brands when factoring in QUALITY of the oils along with cost per 1000mg Omega-3. In fact the only other company to compete was the Sams Club variety. However the Life & Food brand edged them out because they contain a bit more O3's per serving :) I have been using them for 3 months now and I'm very happy! 1 serving first thing in the morning and one serving in the evening. I also keep them in the fridge to ensure they stay as fresh as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I won't post photos of the capsules to show how small they are -- there are plenty of those already posted by other users. But these suckers really are small for fish oil caps, especially considering they contain 1400mg fish oil & 1050 mg Omega-3s in a 2-cap serving!! I did receive a free supply in exchange for my -completely unbiased- review, but that supply was actually my SECOND container, as I purchased the first bottle full-price here. And I will be buying more in the future.

Fish oil
Glad to have. And they're small enough to swallow comfortably.

This is a quality fish capsule with no noisy or embarrassing side effects!
I have needed to take a fish oil capsule for a long time and I have put it off as I remember too clearly all the fish "burps" even with trying keeping them in the freezer, did NOT work. THIS brand, I keep at room temp in a cupboard with my other vitamins and treat it like anything else, just take it...LOL It doe NOT "repeat" ever. EVER. I love this fish oil capsule! I will stay a loyal fan to this company. It's a bit pricey for me, but I will pay it as I need to be able to take it and not be irritated by the "aftermath" the others have caused. PLUS there is NO GMOs, gluten, egg, fillers, binders, milk, peanut, shellfish, Sulfates, Dioxides, or Laurates. I am deathly allergic to shellfish, so I was thrilled to see that statement. The ONLY thing for SOME people is that it is not vegan friendly as it is a bovine gelatin. Otherwise I would recommend this to anyone, especially those with food allergies, taking this will not risk your life.

FTC- not FDA for Supplements!
"The Omega-3 market is very large, no guarantees from the FDA that labeling is accurate…" This may dose at 2 pills, but for 90 days, the formulation and potency are very good. I can tell you, DHA is specific, and EPA undifferentiated. When you see wild differences between the two, beware of inflated EPA numbers. Their source, Alaskan Pollock is very good, and pure. "THIS product IS tested for as best as can be without the FDA by qualified 3rd parties and is not full of TOXINS". A thought: Fish, Krill, e.t. AL, "breathe" water and are a sponge for toxins. If you cannot demonstrate that your source is clean, and tested, then why spend a dollar? Just a thought, anyone reading, wouldn't you be much better off if the FTC, (Federal Trade Commission,) not the FDA was qualifying the labeling of health supplements? Because then labeling would adopt a consumer perspective and desire for accuracy in labeling, where the producers could incur liability for inaccurate claims; think of the "Jelly Fish" product people buy, if the FTC were the arbiter, you would have never known of the lies perpetuated by the seller.. Until then, this is one of a few Omega-3 products that attempt to address the toxin issue properly. As for the FDA: You are on your own, if no arsenic is present, then we do not care. Beware of web-sites attempting to charge a fee to find out the actual potency of any supplement. They are most likely in the employment of the manufacturers. This is not a conspiracy thread, not at all; simply a reminder of the obligations our Government has to supply information on dietary aids is non-existent. Praise any producer who submits their product to 3rd party tests like this one does.

Higher HDL
I get cholesterol tested annually at company health fair (and less often from doctor’s office). My HDL (good cholesterol) has always been high, but this year it had jumped off the chart. I don’t normally make claims based on simple correlation, and still take it with a grain of salt, but my diet and reduced exercise these days should have sent it in the opposite direction. I was so perplexed that after walking through possible contributing factors, none of which applied, they redid the test to confirm. It was later that day, when I reached for my vitamins and fish oil, that a light bulb went off and I researched it...it doesn’t look like there is a scientifically proven, consistent effect on HDL from fish oil (As there is with triglycerides ), but there are some mixed results, so perhaps being predisposed to high HDL makes a difference and YMMV. I had started taking L& F Omega-3 Supreme about 2 months prior to the recent test, and have also been more consistent with vitamins this year. As advertised, I don’t detect any fishiness! Note: my reason for taking it is to hopefully help my brain, short and long term, which is why I didn’t automatically associate it with HDL, as cholesterol was not my concern. There are also some positive signs mentally, but there are soooo many complicating factors there, I can’t just attribute that to the fish oil. But the HDL effect gives me assurance that my research for a quality brand has paid off!

Life & Food -- Perfect Omega-3 Supplement
I have been looking for Omega 3 for some time - have purchased others in the past and have not been that impressed, plus I worry about absorption and seem to have issues with burping at times...which is uncomfortable and fishy tasting. After exhaustive research I identified Life & Food's Omega-3 Supreme and liked what I read in the reviews as well as the dosage size. I appreciate the care they take in their fishing and manufacturing processes as it is extremely important for quality and purity not to mention environmental issues as well. Once I started taking the Life & Food Omega-3 Supreme supplement, I didn't notice a huge difference other than I think my joints are NOT quite as stiff and sore + I noticed very rarely if at all do I get the burps that came with the old Omega-3 supplement I took. Mind you I have only been taking the supplement for two weeks and have noticed several great benefits already...hope it gets even better the longer I continue to take Life & Food Omega-3 Supreme. Would highly recommend to anyone who is considering taking an Omega-3 supplement for their heart health in addition to other positive brain and joint health effects.
