Really Great Monopod
I just received this monopod, and I really like it. I am very impressed with the quality and sturdiness. It also comes in a very nice storage bag. I used it yesterday for the first time, and it was sturdy enough to hold my Mirrorless camera with a 200-600 lens. I probably would not leave the camera sitting on this without holding on to it at all times, but the head was able to lock in without the camera tilting up or down. The head when unlocked moved freely and was great for taking pictures of birds. I had asked this question to others, but got the wrong answer. You can also take the bottom off by turning 2 set screws and then are able to use the bottom as a small tripod. You can use it as is, or mount a head on to it. It is very sturdy and not too heavy to walk around with. My only small complaint is that the head is a Manfrotto 501 type and the foot on my camera is Arca Swiss compatibility so you have to use the supplied plate on the lens foot. I am looking to find a way to convert the head to Arca Swiss. I think this monopod is so reasonably priced, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it.

A+ Great for grab-and-go video.
This is a fantastic, lightweight monopod! I had my doubts, but I wanted to try something with a small footprint that could easily be moved around on a shoot. The bas is sturdy and the telescoping center pole is tough and stable. There is a little wobble that becomes more pronounced the higher you raise it up, but it adds a little bit of “handheld” look. The fluid head is what makes this a great buy! It’s very smooth and allows for excellent tracking of your subject. Additionally, the carrying case is very nice - perhaps a trivial detail, but since cases take a ton of abuse, it’s nice to have one that appears to be sturdy and reliable. There are a lot of other monopods out there, but this one hits all the major needs: inexpensive, strong, easy-to-use, and provides smooth motion. It’s also pretty versatile/customizable, allowing you to removed the tri-foot base and adjust the angle of the monopod. Each locking clamp on the monopod can be tightened or loosened to your liking.

Great Value for a Monopod
In the world of monopods, this one absolutely does the job. It is lightweight yet feels sturdy. I use it for football mostly, but it can be used for a range of activities. Although not suggested, it is so sturdy that I can have my camera with a 70-200mm lens on it and it still won't tip over.

Love it, but didn't last
I'm a videographer and have been using this heavily! love the longer tripod legs which make this so sturdy for even putting it on grass and it has never fallen on me with a heavy load. great fluid head. the only thing the wore down was the actual monopod stick which doesnt lock well any longer just slides down when being put up. i adjusted the screws and tightened everything but still does not lock to keep the load at a specific height. Looking for new stick base, but love the legs and fluid head.

Hard to limit the compliments
I've been a wildlife photographer for years. And a tripod can be a total pain in the buttocks to haul around. And large zoom lenses can become heavier and heavier as the journey goes on. I was watching a football game and suddenly notice the photographers in the endzone with their long telephotos..... ON MONOPODS!! You could pay a great deal more, but this monopod is great. Light weight. The folding feet are terrific. I can step on them to secure it. The carry case is great, it's easy to adjust on the fly....... Game changer.

Outstanding Value
I have a heavy Canon 7D DSLR with a hefty telephoto lens that required stabilization for crisp focus. I researched several premium brands, but did not want to shell-out hundreds of dollars I could use for another lens. I took the plunge and purchased this sturdy monopod, even though I thought the feature/price factor was too good to be true. After three heavy hiking sessions, using this monopod with my wildlife photography gear, I am truly impressed with its functionality and stability. The graphite is substantial and the quick-release levers are sturdy/highly functional. The three feet allow you to deploy the base at a couple angles quickly; however, I use them fully extended for maximum stability. If you tighten the ball joint appropriately at the base, you can confidently step away from your mounted camera equipment without worry. The mounting head is fluid, but since I have such a lens-heavy setup, I tighten the head so the camera does not adjust due to the weight. I tried using it with and without the adjustment lever attached, and it is more functional with the lever attached, as I can use my shoulder to point my camera down. I rarely used a tripod or monopod in the past, but this monopod reduces camera shake considerably… resulting in more clear, in-focus shots.

High quality and versatile
Very impressed with the quality of components in this monopod, especially at this price point. Was tired of slow height adjustments with tripods, wanted a monopod that could also stand on its own for a bit when needed. Fluid head is smooth and easy to use. Gets very tall, base with feet is removable. Using this with my iPhone 15 in a Smallrig cage, and dslr. It’s light enough to use as a boom for high angle shots with iPhone. Feels sturdy all around, love it!

Quite large for a monopod & could have better design.
The monopod is quite long and weighs more than I'd like. There are a number of Allen wrenches to remove parts and adjust things which I'm not crazy about. If it had 1 that would be good. Now I have to worry about losing many and not being able to take the unit apart. The top comes off but has a larger than 1/4" threaded knob on it but you can flip it around I think. That head is large and somewhat heavy. The tripod on the bottom has 2 screws to loosen allowing removal from the main composite shaft. It would be nice if you could attach the rubber foot to the bottom of the pole but it doesn't fit so that screws up the walking stick portion. I'm still not convinced I'll keep it as I want to take it on my motorcycle trip and it's so large but I'm sure will handle my Canon DLSR with no issues.

Bought this based on other reviews and not disappointed. cheaper than here locally by a fair margin. The monopod is light and very well made. comes with most of the things you need to be useful out of the box.

It's reasonably priced and well-made, sturdy, and has a smooth head. We recommend one weighing less than 3kg.

I am a wildlife photographer/videographer and this monopod is one of the best products for me. Instead of paying almost double for other brands, I recommend this one instead.
