So creamy. The best for hummus!
I've tried cheaper but I keep going back to this one. It is thin enough to pour and comes completely mixed up which may be because it is fresher. The container is sturdy. I've had issues with the containers from other brands. Tastes great! My hummus is wonderful and it's because of this hummus. I highly recommend 👌

I've purchased this item about 15 times
I make hummus on almost a weekly basis. I eat hummus on my first break at work every single workday. I have been doing that for almost two years now. I have tried several other brands. I prefer this one. This brand is the best balance between smoothness and flavor that I have found. There was one other brand that was a bit smoother, but I didn't like the flavor as much at all (soom). I've tried American tahini, Israeli tahini and Lebanese tahini. Across the board I prefer lebanese tahini in regard to flavor. This one combines good flavor with tahini that's easy to work with and is above average in smoothness when used to make hummus. I mention easy to work with because typically when you open a new jar of tahini you've got to incorporate the thicker paste that has collected at the bottom of the container with the thinner oily stuff at the top of the container. The paste portion of this one isn't as hard as cement and I've even gotten jars where it hadn't separated very much. That said I've gotten in the habit of storing this upside down (lid down) until I use it. That way the paste moves to the top of the container and is easier to mix when I open it up.

YUM!
This tahini is excellent. Nearly undetectable bitterness. It is thin, rich, and runny; did not hardly need any stirring. The flavor is quite addictive. I use it on veggies, potatoes, in desserts, makes great salad dressing, and of course, hummus. Once you make hummus with this tahini, no other brand will do. You get a lot of tahini- 2lbs. When I saw the container I wondered how long it would take to use it up, but I am putting it on and in practically everything, so it won't be gathering dust on the shelf, that is for sure. Highly recommended!

Top of the line tahini.
A friend recommended this brand. This tahini is smooth & doesn’t have a bitter taste. It’s so delicious - even just by the spoonful. It makes great tasting hummus. This will be the only brand I buy now.

The Best of the Best
I make a lot of hummous. I mean, a lot. As a Jew, hummous runs through my veins. Alas, it's tough to find the right beans for hummous in America. Kabuli Chana, which are the large beans that we tend to use, are wrong on so many levels for hummous. And that crap that masquerades for tahini in the stores, is just as bad. So now we come to this amazing Tahini. Alkanateer. It's smooth, creamy and not bitter. It's the perfect consistency for hummmous or tahina sauce. Or any other food dish that needs tahini. To be honest, I have around three, go-to tahini's for my needs. Alkanateer is always on top. The other two are both Lebanese as well. I just find they make the best tahini. Whatever you do, don't fall for that scam claiming that soom is the best. That pasty crap can't hold a candle to this product, or any of the Lebanese tahinis. So, just buy it. You won't regret it.

The best tahini I've found
Definitely the richest flavor and creamiest textured tahini I've found. I thought the new packaging with a squeeze option would be useless, but this brand stays more emulsified than most, so I don't need to spend 5 minutes breaking up a solid settled mass at the bottom of the jar every time. I try to shop locally, but this tahini is worth ordering online when I can't find it.
