Decent quality and a good price
Wanted a fore grip for occasional use with the air rifle. This seemed worth a go and the fact it could convert to an occasional bipod was a bonus if it worked as advertised. It did and it isn't half bad. Wee bit fiddly to attach to the rail mount but once fitted it is very secure. The small weaver rail on the side is a useful addition for a torch etc. Pressing a button causes the bipod legs to spring out - and with some force too. In the bipod configuration the width of the footing isn't as wide as a conventional bipod but is perfectly adequate and is steady enough to shoot from and to rest the gun upon - although the narrow footing does require a little care to be taken. For the money, the construction seems nice n solid - some kind of polymer / nylon similar to, if not the same as is used on some guns. Legs too are polymer but strong enough and aren't flexible. Metal innards and a very powerful spring. Nothing to complain about and a good addition to the kit

Nice bit of kit.
When this arrived I was cautious as to the construction quality. Having trial fixed it to all my weapons for suitability I now realise it's pretty damn good. The attachment point is sturdy in use and interchanging between weapons is quick and easy. The spring which deploys the legs maybe a little too strong for some and it makes a lot of noise. However the legs snap into place firmly. Retracting is simply achieved by gripping them together and pushing back up into the grip till they re engage . I have removed the spring to allow a simple gravity feed on pressing the release button which is conveniently situated. In conclusion This is a really good, value for money purchase.

Not bad
For the money you can't moan but I wish the tripod legs were a bit wider as it does feel a tad unstable when you place your rifle on the deck. I have it on a bullpup air rifle and I like to place my rifle on the deck when I change mags or I want to survey the land with my thermal spotter. Other than that it does exactly what I want and I am looking forward to using my rifle with the fore grip next time I am out shooting.

Brilliant Kit (with maintenance tip)
Well made and durable, this is highly fit for purpose. The one caveat I would add, is that in order for the mechanism to function properly, it is important that the deployment button, which is spring loaded, be properly lubricated. If it is not lubricated or if dirt gets into the mechanism, the button may not return to its neutral position when you stop pressing it, which would prevent the catch from engaging the legs when they are attracted. One or perhaps two drops of something like three and one oil, drizzled between the button and the main body, followed by careful wiping away of any excess oil, ensures it's smooth operation. It's a minor maintenance point that takes only a couple minutes effort, but based on some of the negative comments I've seen about this, by people who are apparently unaware of the necessity of lubricating moving parts, I believe it is worth a mention. The addition of a picatini rail on the side, allowing for the addition of a torch (as seen in my photo), as well as the built-in bipod, make this a worthwhile and useful addition for your weapon. I highly recommend this foregrip.
