Totally Bamboo Rolling Pin, 20.5-Inch, Large-20 1/2",Large - 20 1/2"

I regret not buying one of these French style rolling pins much sooner. The size is long enough for most pastry/dough and simple to manipulate or "trim" the edges evenly by adjusting the hands. I also find it much easier to feel and control the amount of pressure, unlike the ones with handles on the ends. Also, no difficult areas to clean, just a simple wash & & wipe. The pin I received was smooth with uniform size and taper. The roller also has great eye appeal on the countertop. Would certainly recommend this as an addition to anyone's kitchen arsenal. There hasn't been anything yet to deduct stars, so giving it a rare high 5.

Bamboo is infinitely renewable. It regrows and doesn't take a lot to do it. I really liked everything about this rolling pin except that it's produced with bamboo grown in China, and made in China. Bamboo grows in the USA. I couldn't find a company selling rolling pins. And this company is run by a bunch of old hippie types who are (kinda) trying to do the right thing. The rolling pin is magnificent! I'm an old lady who bakes, and I decided to do regular pie crust and suddenly hated my other rolling pins. ( My mix in the pan crust is still better! ) I cannot imagine, even with beating the crap outta some dough, that this rolling pin would come undone. It really looks sturdy and beautiful. Those Chinese....

Bamboo is very sustainable to use for wood products, and the layering on this rolling pin makes it very attractive. Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial as well, which is a nice thing in a wood product that you use with food. It's very smooth, and works very well. I bought this style to use to roll out dough for making dumplings, and it works very well for that purpose. Great workmanship and definitely worth the price.

OMG! So in love with this roller. I’ve made pasta 3 times with it so far and it works so well in my hands. I love the weight…not to heavy or light. I prepped it first with mineral oil The surface was smooth and didn’t require extra sanding. I’ve used it three times in the past week to make homemade pasta. And it came out great….not to mention that it’s a beautiful rolling pin.

Good weight and size. I took one star off because while the design looks good, the bamboo is slightly rippled due to the edge grain section being inconsistent when the manufacturer turned it on the lathe. It's a very minor design flaw that may not happen on every pin. They should have glued the bamboo together all in the same direction. Or check them better in the factory.

Most rolling pins are a very long 20" length, which is good for general use, but when you get down to the 'nitty gritty,' you need something smaller. It is good for rolling out smaller pieces of dough for empanadas, little pizzas, smaller pastry and pasta doughs, etc...the smaller pin is much more user friendly and allows you more dexterity while rolling b/c the smaller rolling pin doesn't "get in your own way" when maneuvering dough for smaller jobs. It's also great for little hands to use, my 4-yr-old granddaughter and this rolling pin work together very well! The finish is very smooth as well. Recommended.

Aside from looking really nice, this rolling pin works very well for rolling out small items like dumplings. Sure, you could just get a piece of dowel as suggested in Asian Dumplings , but this rolling pin works very nicely. Our dumplings now have "bellies" which makes them even tastier. The pin is also sealed. So while you still don't want to put it in the dishwasher or let it soak, it is easier to clean than unfinished wood. That said, the surface doesn't hold flour like unfinished wood, so you might have a slightly harder time rolling out sticky dough. For a long time, I thought that the little rolling pin was overkill, but it makes the dumplings so much easier and faster.

Great for flat breads. Light weight, easy to clean. Bit expensive, but who doesn't like a bit of kitchen bling!!

Es una pasada de rodillo , super ligero y fácil de usar. Es una pieza de coleccionista y vale la pena tenerla.

Je ne suis pas déçu de cet article, le bambou donne vraiment toute la qualité à ce rouleau à pâtisserie, c'est du solide, du lourd même et il va durer longtemps. C'est quand même autre chose que les rouleaux fabriqué en "bois compressé" ! La taille de 52 cm est idéale, et les deux couleurs donnent un peu d'originalité. Le nettoyage et le séchage se font en quelques minutes. Je recommande vivement ce produit après plusieurs mois d'utilisation.

Das Nudelholz aus Bambus sieht sehr chic aus und ist wirkllich gut verarbeitet. Es ist recht leicht und liegt beim Auswellen gut in der Hand. Der Teig, ich verwende es überwiegend für Nudelteig, bleibt nicht daran haften, wie es mir schon mit anderen Wellhölzern passiert ist. Auch zum Auswellen von Pizzateig ist es hervorragend geeignet, selbst wenn man Teig direkt auf dem Backblech auswellen will, geht das problemlos, man kommt damit in die letzte Ecke. Habe es jetzt schon eine ganze Weile in Gebrauch und habe den Kauf nicht bereut.
