SPLENDIDE Georgia 20-Piece Flatware Set

These are substantial. A very nice set!

My husband and I had a $100 budget for new nice everyday flatware and after a bit of searching at department stores, Bed Bath & Beyond, and watching for sales, we settled on these. So far I like the shape and feeling/weight of the set. The metal is 18/10 stainless steel, which I really wanted, and we have been putting them in the dishwasher with no issues. They will show fingerprints once in a while, but that wipes up with a towel. The design is nice and timeless and the prongs on the forks are nice (that is, not too big--a sign of cheap flatware). The knives have a beveled edge rather than a slight serrated cut like some knives do. I kind of like it that way.My only problem (and why I didn't give 5 stars) is that they were shipped in nothing other than an unmarked cardboard box and though each piece was individually wrapped in plastic, a few of the spoons had been scratched or damaged. I checked each piece and decided in the end not to send them back, but if you make this purchase, simply check them for damage before using. If you get a set that is in good shape, you'll probably like them a lot.

A classic style, not too dainty, and solid made utensils. Sent in a small box, very conservative, each individually placed in a plastic sleeve. I am very happy to have made this puchase.

These look very nice. What I like most about them though, and the reason I chose them, was that there's no sharp angles that would require hand scrubbing to remove food.

We really like these utensils. They are high quality stainless steel and have a nice solid feel in the hand. They are easy to hold and use for someone who has trouble with their hands, The stainless has a surprising deep sheen unlike the cheaper set I used to use. Highly recommended!

I am delighted with this product! I was able to confirm, with help from another purchaser, that the cutlery is 18/10, the best. I took a chance that it would match my set purchased elsewhere, and it does! I now have enough for guests and at an excellent price!
