paint like a pro and be entertained for hours!
I purchased this for a activity for my daughter's 12th birthday party. It was a hit! Enough to hold attention for over an hour and easy for them to do. Of course they did not finish as there is so much to do, but that was part of my gift for them to take home with their paints. Then they had an activity to do later at home. The paints do seem like they may run out but you do only use a small amount so they may last to the end. You will have to provide your own frame st the end, but you get a nice finished canvas of your own masterpiece! I would recommend for beginners no matter what age as it will keep you entertained for hours!

The canvas rather reminds me of the kind of oil cloth we had as tablecloths when I was a child (1950-1960 timeframe.) Therefore, I plan to "build" (nail together,) a 1 " x 1" frame and stretch the canvas over it, thumbtacking it to the frame so it will remain taut during painting. I like the article. Although I'm not sure how the paint will adhere to the canvas.

Look ma I'm a painter
Was alot of fun! I am an at home mom and was able to start and stop at my leisure. When completing it was so nice to see it all come together in the end...the black was definatly my favorite part .my only complaint was the numbers show through the paint on a few colors and you had to go over them a few times.

Received the wrong picture. Returned for a refund. Disappointed.
The box said the picture was of the colorful owl, but when I opened it, it was a city scene. I'm very disappointed as I really wanted to paint the owl. Returned for a refund. Not going to reorder.

Exactly as described
This was my first paint by numbers, it was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to follow and came with everything needed. It does take a long time to finish however that was perfect for when I had some down time. I would purchase another in the future

Paint dried up really quick
The paint it came with dried up really quick I had to purchase additional paint in order to finish, but turned out great!

Great Activity'
Thought it might be too hard for my 10 year old grandson, but was the only paint by number that had a great picture. Turns out, it was not too hard and he loved it !
