The upholstery thread is amazing. Super thick and durable. I use this product to sew our canvas tents for hunting after they got snagged up in a storm and had a few tears in the sides. Needle sizes were great as well as sharp and went through the canvas well!

This needle and thread combo is a game changer for me. The thread is very sturdy as well as the needle. I used it to replace a broken zipper on a heavy winter coat. It made the job a breeze and genuinely shocked me at how fast I was able to finish the job. I had no idea that you could buy such thick thread! I tried using a threader because it seems almost impossible to thread the needle but the threader broke right away so i figure out the you wet the thread tip and twist it tight and aim for the hole. Whatever sticks through just grab and the rest will follow. I would absolutely recommend this set for any type of thicker fabric like a heavy coat, purse, couch, car seat.. really anything. I'm very impressed by it!

Needles are very strong and have no problem getting through canvas and softer leather. If you have to sew stiffer leather, i.e. boots, gloves, mittens, etc... then you'll want cutting Needles. The thread is very heavy duty and has to be cut to length. You're not going to break it by pulling it. Another great feature of the thread is that it is 3 strands twisted together. Not braided or bonded. That means that if you can triple the amount of thread by simply untwisting it and using just one strand. Definitely worth the money.

It's perfectly serviceable. You absolutely need to use a thread puller to reliably get the thread through the included needles, and with how cheap thread pullers are I would have liked to seen some included. Even with a thread puller however the eye of some of the needles are just too small for the included thread. The quality of the needles is otherwise fine, I haven't had any break on me yet. The thread itself is pretty decent, very thick and durable. Been holding up to a rambunctious cat.

Really nice set for the price. I don't do a lot of furniture restoration, so I'll probably never need to buy another one. This is a thick thread. It's good for my purposes, but probably not delicate enough for fine stitching on leather gloves or jackets. Great value, and great variety of needles for needs that may arise.

The needles are on and the thread will unravel while trying to sew. Overall it works for my application but the quality isn’t the greatest. Thread is nylon or some type of plastic like material. Burns quickly if exposed to a flame.

Worth the price. Very strong braided thread, and every type of needle you need. Sewed up a rip I had in my work coat with no worries about it coming apart.

Repaired OGIO backpack strap months ago and it is still holding strong. Great for heavy duty repairs. One needle broke but may be because I picked the wrong one for the particular repair.

Nice kit to repair leather. Would buy again.
