Maintains the quality of the Kimberly Clark brand.
When a known good quality product is no longer available, and the only option appears to be a knock-off, it is definitely time to be skeptical. After reading some of the negative reviews, I almost did not order these. However, I felt there were enough positive reviews to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. There was one glove left in my Kimberly Clark box, so I put that on my left hand, and the new Halyard Health glove on my right. I am right-handed, so it it was going to rip, let's find out. The thickness felt the same, as did the suppleness. Even the color matched! Didn't notice any hole punctures or rips when I was done. They performed as well as expected. This is important to me because skin will absorb chemicals. It's not as quick as ingesting them, but when skin has a long exposure there is plenty of time to absorb it. Having any cuts or abrasions in the skin just makes it worse. Not sure why there were such bad reviews. Perhaps the initial run was too thin and ripped? Then they corrected it in the next batch? Can't say. All I know is I am happy with them and will buy them again.

Strong, textured and sized right
A family member spent several months in several hospitals, and I used a number of different brands of disposable gloves. One of the hospitals used these purple Kimberly Clark gloves. They are the best of any gloves that I used at hospitals then, or at home since. These are a bit larger and fit more comfortably than other gloves sold as the same size, so they're easier to pull on and off and fit snugly, rather than tightly. I've sometimes ripped other gloves when I tugged them over my palm, but that's never happened with these. I don't know if they're thicker than others, but they feel more substantial without any noticeble loss of dexterity. Also the Kimberly Clark gloves are lightly textured and provide good grip. I didn't buy these for a while, because the price was higher, but I started ordering again when the price became more competitive. I think they deserve a premium, but there's just a limit to how much I'm willing to spend on a recurring cost item like this. If it fits your budget, these might be the best gloves you can get.

EXCELLENT GLOVES
I'm allergic to both latex and the powder often put in gloves to make them go on easily. I use these purple nitrile gloves for all sorts of things - to apply meds to my pets, to protect my hands from irritants, just to stay clean. I specifically get my gloves online since Walmart's only carries the medium size which fits well EXCEPT they are very hard to get on when your hands are wet. I much prefer the large for that reason. However, if you want to be able to pick up a dime, get a size that fits snugly. One caution. If you decide to use these gloves to apply Bengay, they will work sort of. They will split. Apparently the Bengay is unique in its reaction with the nitrile. I have never had any other substance cause the gloves to weaken. I do use them to apply Bengay, but quickly and carefully. These are an excellent product and I have had excellent service from the company providing them. UPDATE: THE GLOVES I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED DO NOT WEAKEN WITH THE USE OF BENGAY. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A BAD BATCH OF GLOVES. I HAVE USED THEM WITH BENGAY WITH NO SPLITTING AT ALL.

The vendor did a good job - but the product
This product is a re-order for me. The first quantity of this product were hospital quality. However, the gloves received are much thinner than the originals I ordered, although I ordered the exact same thing through Amazon. It appears as though there is a serious reduction in quality while sustaining the price at the same level. This is no fault of the seller, they did their job as expected. UPDATE: I have now had ample time to use this product and I can assure any potential buyer that they should look for a different product. These are much too thin and frequently break putting them on. What better way to cause a person to buy more product...disgusting. Even though this order has exactly the same UPC number and product description, they actual gloves are NOT the same as my first order.

Through heavy abuse, these Halyard Health Nitrile gloves held up ALL DAY! - one pair, I am still in awe.
I put my hands through all kinds of use and abuse. Every day I go through 6-10 pairs of nitrile gloves, sometimes 15-20 pairs. I renovate houses, and use a wiiiide variety of tools and materials, all hard on the hands - chemicals, toxins, cuts, abrasions, sharp edges, splintered wood, etc. The general quality of your standard nitrile glove has bottomed out. Many of the economy brands rip as you put them on, and if your lucky they last for 15-20 minutes of work, I even started layering them just to get through some tasks so I wouldn't have to go looking for gloves with my hands full... I have now purchased over 11 different brands of nitrile gloves trying to find one that will hold up without being the super-duper thick ones,, I often wear a pair to protect from spray foam, glue, caulk or paint so I can strip off the mess by just throwing the gloves out and jumping to another task, so I don't always want the thick ones (less dexterity with thick also). Through heavy abuse, these Halyard Health Nitrile gloves held up ALL DAY! - one pair, I am still in awe. These are (without a doubt) easily the best medium/lightweight Nitrile gloves I have used. I will be buying a case. They are a little on the expensive side for a box of 100 gloves - $12 compared to $7 for your Harbor Freight and other cheapies, and They Are Worth Every Penny. When compared to 10 other boxes (you name it, I've tried them) they are well worth it. Wish I had found them years ago, and hope the quality stays up where it is!
