Great, lightweight. Perfect for open back fins when scuba diving. This is my second time to buy them, bought an another pair for a fellow diver. 👍

I used these in a 6 days scuba dive trip in Sipadan/Malaysia. I have a New Mares Volo Power Scuba Diving Fins - Black (Size Regular 9-11) . The water temperature was between 80ºF (26.7ºC) to 84ºF(28.9ºC), in Jul/2018. I normally wear US size 9, but after reading the reviews I bought one size bellow, US 8 and it fits just right! Pros Light (316g for the pair). Easy to put on and take off. Fit in my fins perfectly, no gaps, no squeeze. Easy to wash and dry (you can easily turn them inside out). While walking on fine sand, some came in, but very few. The heels are rubberized, which keep the straps in place. Easy to remove the water from inside, not need to take them off. Comfortable. After 16 dives/~50 min each, no sores. Cons They don't dry as fast as I wanted, but the place was humid, so I did not expect much. They run one size larger. Other toughts The soles are pretty thin, which might be a problem if you will be walking on rocks Update It is now 2023, 7 years have passed (and many dives) since I bought these in 2016 and they still look/feel great!!!

A little large for me otherwise well made and durable. Wound up returning do a smaller size which was, yes, you guessed it, too small

Most comfortable thing I've EVER put on my feet!!! Love that the protective rubber on the bottom goes slightly up and around the side of my foot and up the back of my heel. Perfect for diving, beach/rock walking, putting inside snorkeling fins to prevent rubbing on back of foot, sole is thick enough to prevent from any nasty thing in the ocean like coral or sea urchins or sharp rocks. I listened to the reviews and ordered a smaller size. I'm always hesitant when I read reviews like that because I don't want to order something too small. And I have big feet. But I wear 11 in women's shoes and I ordered a size 9. Most perfect fitting thing I've ever owned!!! Not too tight at all. Enough comfortable space for my toes. I don't understand how this product could have thing less than five stars!!! Will absolutely order this again in the future! I would wear this 24/7 if I could!

Extremely comfortable should have taken the advice of others and buy one size smaller. I wear a 12 they’re tiny bit large, but I can deal with it.

I have to agree with the “runs big” comments. There is a lot of extra toe room in the size 13 I ordered. Fits like a 14. The tag is strange. It shows a whole chart showing USA sizing and the 13 is circled. But the sticker also says UK 13 which would be a US 14, and that’s what it fits like. I strongly encourage sizing down. I’ve been wearing size 13 for almost 40 years and these just seem to be a little big.

I used these snorkeling with open back fins and had no issues. Slightly higher, crew sock type collar kept beach sand out. We were on a many island Caribbean cruise, so snorkeling and swimming a lot of different beaches. The Mars worked fine whether on the beach or snorkeling from the boats. The only time I didn’t use them and really needed them was a very rocky beach in St Lucia called “Sugar Breach” - the description was of nice sandy beach. Yeah…but you had to walk over a band of about 6-8 feet of rocks to get from the sandy beach to the sandy sub-water surface, and it was too shallow to avoid walking. I think the tread on these would have helped cross those rocks ( not sharp but varied sizes) but people were swimming in Crocs (!), so they probably had best protection getting across that band of rocks although the Crocs may have hindered swimming. Dunno. I did have to empty considerable amounts of water from the booties after boarding the boat or walking ashore.

Perfect for paddleboarding, windsurfing, surfing etc.

Love them but reordered a sized down for my wife. Plus added one for myself. Very comfortable!
