Actually bought this to remove sand at the beach. It works great to remove any dry sand before you leave!

Super cute and can scrub things well and clean off easily.. however, I like my sink uncluttered and this isn’t the ‘end all be all’ sponge you’d need. You can’t wipe up spills on the counter with it. It doesn’t absorb. It’s good for cleaning dishes but a bit slippery as others have mentioned. I still love it just because it’s super cute.

I'm neurodivergent and work as a highschool SpEd coach. These brushes are a hit for teens and adults in need of tactile stimulation! I'm not sure how they do with dishes but they're so calming and fun to brush, pluck, stretch, or squeeze!

Looks nice. Not a good scrubber to easily remove baked on foods. Find the fish is a liquid soap eater. Soap washes-out too easily from silicon bristles.Not easily used to scub sharp knives. Careful not to leave a permanent cut on fish. (PIC: My FISH is several months old after learning not to clean sharp knives. Oops!)

So pleased with this purchase! I bought it because I mostly use reusable kitchenware for my work lunches, but don’t trust the communal sponge in our office building kitchen (especially not these days). Yes, the fish is a little slippery, but once you figure out how to hold it (which only took seconds for me), it shouldn’t be a major problem. It retains soap and cleans just fine for the light-medium scrubbing I require of it.I have so much peace of mind during my lunch break now, knowing that my utensils have been cleaned by something far more hygienic than a moldy petri dish of a sponge. Definitely recommend!

I use this to get sand off kids hands at the beach. Works great.
