Definitely a nice carrier - both me and my cat for sure prefer it over the crate we used to use
I'm really glad I got this carrier bag for my cat. For one, it's easier and more comfortable to carry than a crate, and (more importantly) my cat seems to find it more comfortable to be in as well. Or at the very least he meows a lot less in protest now if we need to go somewhere like the vet. With his head outside of the carrier I imagine he feels a lot less confined, especially since his vision isn't as obstructed as it was before (which I think he appreciates since I notice him taking more interest in his surroundings when he's in his carrier bag than when he used to have to be in his crate). He also will willingly go back into his carrier bag on his own as his little safe space in the office once a vet exam has finished, which is something he'd never done before with his crate. 100% would recommend. Quick notes on handling of the carrier bag when your cat is inside it - always best practice to keep a hand underneath your cat in the carrier as a source of stable support whenever the bag is on your shoulder. And when grabbing the long strap (either to maybe get your cat out of your car or when passing the carrier to a vet, for instance), I'd suggest making sure to hold the strap with two hands spread farther apart rather than with just one hand in the middle of the strap. The bag is pretty loose, so if you grab it just in the middle, the pull of the handle on the carrier may make it bend back in a way that could be uncomfortable for your cat.

Ohmagosh!!!
Best invention ever!!! Works exactly like it says! Great price! I think I’ll order a few more; one for my other cat, and some as gifts! My 13 year old cat has only ever been in the standard plastic cat carriers, but easily let me put him in this. First, I carried him around the house to see how he’d do. He was calm and just hanging out, so I went outside and walked around a little. Still, no problem. About a week later, I took him to the vet in the comfort carrier and he was so calm and content. I really like the strap for sliding the seat belt through it. The zipper is strong, yet glides smoothly, fabric is thick and great quality, but my cat was a bit warm after being in it for the 30 min car ride to the vet’s office. At least he was able to feel the air conditioning blowing on him in the car.

Better than a traditional carrier - - no more battles to get in the car!
The Cat-in-the-Bag Cozy Comfort Carrier is an absolute must-have for anyone who’s ever struggled to transport their cat safely and comfortably. This product is a total game-changer, making vet visits, grooming sessions, or even travel a stress-free experience—for you and your feline friend! Unlike traditional carriers that can feel like a battle to use, the bag slips on easily, with no wrestling or stress. Plus, the velcro collar opening for the head lets my cat peek out, which has surprisingly helped her stay relaxed and curious during car rides! What I love most is how versatile it is. It doubles as a "restraint" for grooming and nail trimming, which has always been a nightmare in my house. Now, with this carrier, I can safely and confidently handle those tasks without the usual scratching, biting, and squirming.

Hard to get cats head in
Well made, but freaked my cat out trying to get her in it. Does not work for her.

Vet tech said he was "a perfect gentleman" and walked around the clinic showing him off in his bag
Last vet visit he tried to bite someone, he gets stressed and angry after being stuffed in a crate. I was called because they forgot to administer the rabies shot and we needed to bring him back. We waited till his new bag showed up and had it around the house a few days. It was easy to get him in the bag, he wasn't too excited but didn't object much either. He was calm while we drove, I could pet him and talk to him. He's a big cat, 16.5 pounds and the large size fit well and kept him warm. He had recently been "lion shaved" due to long hair matted coat--he objects to grooming with claws and teeth. I handed him off to the vet tech who came out to our truck, and she was surprised to see he was confined and comfortable. She took him in her arms and walked around the vet clinic, showing off his bag. I asked how he did and she said he was a "perfect gentleman" and was returned to me after his shot still calm. He didn't seem frustrated till we arrived at home and he was ready to be free. I also lent the bag to my daughter when she moved. She held her cat on her lap in the bag, while I drove her car. His normal misery and fear in the car became just a long long nap. He is a long hair cat. We could see the bag might get too hot on a warm day, so we unzipped him partially to give him more ventilation. I think this is a great quality product and much less stressful way to transport for the cat and the owner. A light color is probably the best choice to avoid overheating the cat especially if you have a long haired cat. We got lavender.

GET THIS BAG! Life changing for cat & human
*GET IT* so worth it! My cat needed ear drops and oral medication daily. It was such a battle/ requires two people and she was stressed the while time as we tried to hold her tight and she would fight to get away. **Enter cat bag** She then would sit perfectly still once in!! Life changing. No stress for anyone. One person could do it alone now which was life changing. She even stopped running from us when we went to get her. After 2 months of daily use- we can actually just hold her in a towel and she doesn’t move. It really helped her to relax and get used to treatment. Plan to use the bag to trim her nails as well. She was a shelter cat who was ultra scared and the bag really helped.

Good quality
Ive had cats for fifty years and had no problems trimming nails but the cat i have now is a different story.ive never experienced a cat as strong and powerful as this guy. He has ripped through numerous cat bags supposedly made for grooming and done some major damage to me in the process. This bag is tougher than his nails and he can kick like a kangaroo and it holds up. Its a little difficult to maneuver his paws out of the small openings but its doable.im thankful i bought this because trimming this guys nails is a fight everytime. A MUZZLE IS ALSO A MUST.. for the negative reviewers- a simple muzzle mask will calm your cat as it covers his eyes and prevents biting so you can easily put them in the bag. this is worth the price .a large is roomy even for my big boy

Great for taking my motion sick cats to the vet, the large doesn't fit a Maine coon cross though.

Haven't tried it on my cats as they took one loo and disappeared. Introducing slowly is the key. I think it better than a kitty box as it leaves the head outside.

I have 5 cats. The top three things cats hate are, carriers, cars, and vets. This bag is the best carrier I have ever used in 50 years. It is easy to get them in generally. 1 of the 5 will not and gets hysterical. The little velcro pockets to let you trim nails is a marketing scam. There is no way you can get a cats paw out of it. I can safely drive with them on my lap. It is comforting to be able to scratch their head as we drive. You can put your seatbelt through the bag and lock them in, and they are below the airbag if we get into an accident. Highly recommend.

My cat can't handle the car at all heck breaks loose. I put her in the bag, she got her paw out, but stayed like that for the 5min trip to the vet for gabapentin for my move. She was actually much calmer but she was still unhappy about the car. only 1 loud meow instead of meowing all the waiy there. on the way back just as we got home she pooed in the bag. So gabapentin and the bag for the move, 40min car ride, Im still dreading it but at least I can pet her and it seems like a better way to travel with them than a cage that they hate. 1 cat down two to go to the vet.
