I found a few activity books online that I print out now which is a bit more economical in the long run. This is still great if you are lazy like I occasionally am! Review: A little more than I expected! - Cute art, great for coloring. Just a quick flip through, I think it was bigger than I expected! Wonderful, fun designs. Still useful for crafts, I love that there are simple lines and directions for my toddler to understand. Can't wait to get into it this weekend! Innovative activity book.

Good practice book, but too tough for my 3 year old
This was a really cute book. The pictures were cute and fun to color. But, when it came to cutting, it was too tough for my 3 year old. However, it would be great for a pre-kindergarten student or for the beginning of the kindergarten year. I liked that the beginning pages had practice lines and cutting of shapes. But, most of the animal or objects to cut out were curved or had some small details to cut. I definitely thought it was high quality, thick paper. So, I would buy this, but not for a 3 year old. I would wait until 4.

Cute and attention-grabbing
My daughter is so curious about scissors so I bought this with hopes she would Be motivated to use scissors correctly and in a more structured way. She just turned 4 so I know how dangerous a scissor curiosity can be! The pages are cute and they have a variety of bold lines and shapes for cutting practice. I do wish the pages were perforated so I could give a page at a time and they wouldn’t have to manipulate the whole book. I just started ripping the pages out

Scissor Skills have improved
Our toddler first colors the page and then cuts on the lines or cuts the shapes out. She has learned to take time to adjust the paper and scissors to stay on the line. Her hand has gotten stronger so she no longer needs the second hand to open up the scissors before each cut.

Nice book for toddlers
My son loves doing the activities In this book! Only downside is he goes through them pretty quick and if you don’t pre copy them so they have more then one to do then you can go through the book pretty quickly. I would recommend before you start if you have a photo copier on your printer to copy the pages so you can print out multiples for the kids to practice with!

Super Cute Cutting Activity Book
Honestly, I purchased this one for my own aesthetics. Turns out, it’s a great cutting book for the scissor wielding toddler. During the pandemic, when her school closed, we got her into a pod preschool. She took an interest into scissors and cutting, and we just couldn’t keep up. This was one of the last books available, that isn’t from the more common supplemental books. Super cute!

This is a brilliant book for my 3 year old who is currently scissor-mad. As a bonus, most of the pages can be coloured in before cutting to make the activity last longer. The book starts off with simpler/easier activities and moves on to harder ones. I have been photocopying the pages so that they can be reused for my younger daughter and am planning to take some sheets with me when we go travelling to keep my daughter occupied. Photocopying the sheets also makes it easier for my daughter to use them as the pages cannot be removed from the book very easily.

I bought these for my kids that just turned 4 and I'm so pleased with it. There's lots of practice for the kids to cut and they think it's a fun game because the pics are all appealing to them. They colour the pics after cutting them and they feel like they are creating something themselves. It gives them a real sense of accomplishment. They ask to cut everyday which is a definite win! Initially I didn't think there was a perforated edge because it's really hard to see, but it's there within the spine and the pages are easy to pull out. There's also enough space for the kids to cut the page out themselves if they want to. The paper is great quality and easy for the kids to hold and cut properly without inadvertently tearing the page, or the page constantly flopping on them. As another reviewer said, there are no scissors included - and no colouring pencils, no case, no clips either for that matter (which are also shown in the photos). The description is really clear that it's just the workbook.

The book has a great concept, to learn or help the child use scissors, strengthen hand and fingers - but - the pages are in a book which you need to rip out the page and sometimes the page is not ripped out correctly..
