Nice lids to toss on any common bucket. We use these for pet (and human) food storage. They work great. Seal is tight and then then lid screws on nicely. Some times you have to work with it a bit, but once it's on there, it's going to protect your food stuffs inside your bucket.

Very good lid, easy to install with light taps with rubber mallet and makes for a solid seal. I used it to carry oil to the parts store safely but need to do be careful.... overall very nicely made in usa

Fit my bucket snugly and works perfectly. I use it for making popcorn on movie night, and the leftover popcorn stays fresh for a few days after making it a great option for larger families to have a cheap snack ready to go.. It was a bit tricky to get attached to the rim of the bucket but with a little elbow grease it went on. I suggest using a rubber mallet. The lid spins so it's easy to put on or take off. Once it's on the bucket it is very difficult to remove so make sure you are putting it on the bucket you want it on. Other Gamma lids are way more expensive making this great value for money and it fits on a few different sizes of bucket up to 5 gallons storage capacity bucket. If you're a prepper or trying to set up a long term food storage pantry these lids are essential with food grade buckets.

I've bought several of these lids in various colors to categorize items in my garage. Since I'm into organics for my lawn and flowers, I have a number of products that I use to maintain them. Rather than look through several buckets (I was using Home Depot and Lowe's buckets) for the soil amendment I want, I decided to color code everything. These lids do that job well. I use red ones for Lava Sand (a big seller here in Texas), green ones for Texas Green Sand and yellow ones for Dry Molasses, since the colors of those products are similar to the lid colors. I also have orange ones for My Home Depot buckets and blue ones for my Lowe's buckets. The lid fit those types of buckets quite well. The only drawback to these lids (and the ONLY reason I give them a 4-star rating) is that they have a piece of neoprene tubing which is press-fitted into the rim of the piece that snaps onto the buckets. The tubing acts like an O-ring, giving a near-hermitec seal betwenn the bottom ring and the bucket. The top (screw-on) piece has its own gasket. Getting these lids on my buckets was difficult, to say the least. Even with pushing, pounding, squeezing, etc., getting them on was a workout. Once they're on, they're fine, but getting there requires muscles! Getting them off is another story. If you have a low tolerance for frustration, don't even try it. To get around the problems, I've taken to removing the tubing/O-rings and then snapping them onto my buckets. That doesn't give quite as good a seal as having the tubing in there would, but it's nearly perfect, which is good enough for me. I've also taken to spraying a WD-40-like product onto the bottom rings before installing them, which makes the job easier. If there were ratings between 4 and 5, I'd give these a 4.6 or a 4.7 - that's why I say Almost Perfect in my review title. Bottom Line: I'm well satisfied with these products and wouldn't hesitate to buy more of them.

I keep my ice melting supplies in a 5 gallon bucket. Previous winters it was a pain to get access to the contents when one or more of the locking tabs would be engaged. Install this top, no more problems. Top spins off and on easily, anyone in the family can get to the bucket contents if they need to.

It really is a very nice lid for my rice bucket but I did have to watch a couple of videos on YouTube one show to ced the lid off with out damanging it then another to put the lid on my bucket, I found them very helpful and once I watched the video how to put it on, I was able to do it quickly and easly

Easy to use. You can attach to almost any size bucket. Used ours for a chicken watering bucket. Keeps the young chicken from getting in the top of the bucket. It was easy to install.

this lid is fantastic however, it is a huge struggle to find buckets in South Africa that fit that size lid. Such a shame, I would have bought alot more then

As a large family, we buy many dry items in bulk. After seeing "gamma lids" recommended online, I bought one and a "Meguiars" 5 gallon bucket to use it with (also available on Amazon). The lid is tricky to install, but there are heaps of YouTube videos to point you in the right direction. I have 3 of these buckets and lids now to store my bulk flour, rice, and diatomaceous earth in. My older kids can easily open them, but the tiny one can't - so that's a win! We really like them.
