Why did you pick this product vs others?: We needed this because we've added another hose for our backyard. This one looked well made & so far it's done the job. We have one hose on our deck & the other at the lower part of our hilly yard. My wife has arthritis in her hands but has no problem switching the water flow from one hose to the other. There are no leaks where the hoses connect so the washers are doing their job. Hopefully this will last for many seasons.

I ordered this in 2019 and it's been great- up until yesterday when it snapped off at the main valve. And that's probably my fault because I used a wrench to get it off and cranked a little bit too hard. It's wonderful to have hoses going in several directions when you are doing yard work, water the garden, giving the dogs a bath, etc... Sadly now I have to have another one-- maybe this time I will get more than 6 years use. But if not, it's ok- I know where to get another one!

This hose splitter is better than most! It is well made, and durable. For the first time ever, my spigot is not leaking because this connects so solidly. I really appreciated that it came with the spool of Plummer’s tape. I wrapped that around my house spigot 3 times, and then attached this splitter. I also appreciated that it comes with 4 O-rings. But I didn’t need any of those yet, because I have new hoses that also come with O-rings. They do deteriorate, so to have these extras is handy. I am using this splitter on my spigot in order to run two hoses to sprinklers that I want to leave out all the time in the flower beds, one additional hose to use for washing the car or whatever else, and a spare connection for something I will surely think of in the future. My only complaint—which is a very slight one—is that initially the little on/off levers were stiff and so a bit hard to turn. But they loosened up immediately and are not so hard to turn now. I’d much rather have then snug (like they are) so not to leak, than to lose. There is no leaking anywhere from this splitter. Easy to mount with pre-existing holes. I mounted mine on my raised carrot planter, used a short piece of 2”x2” to offset the manifold making it easy to attach the garden hoses. This is a very durable product, however I spray with a protective lubricant when storing for the winter. Individual easy to use selection tabs make selecting between hoses effortless. All four can be used at the same time, however I find that water pressure is low, works for my auto water system .
