High quality product and it was very easy to put it up on the fence for my jasmin. Very happy with it

The kit is sufficient for 5x6m wires but you do need to plan ahead. Fitting the clamp to the wire, feeding the wire through the fixed hook eye and back through the clamp is easy. Fitting the bend needs dexterity and is best done by slipping it on to the eye and tightening the wire round the bend before crushing the clamp. Now it gets more difficult. Measure the wire to the next eye. Allow sufficient length for the bend and the expended length of the turn buckle. None of my wire cutters would cut the cable and I had to resort to a hack saw. This blunts the wire and it will not fit into the clamp. If you cut the plastic sheath at an angle and have the wire partly bare it can go into the sheath. Twist it in a clockwise direction as you insert the wire. Now feed the wire through the turnbuckle and back into the clamp. Slip the eye through the turnbuckle and tighten wire through the clamps. Before crimping the clamp make sure the wire and turnbuckle can hook over the fixed eye. Tighten the wire, crimp the clamp, and tighten the turnbuckle. The clever bit is they provide 4 extra clamps for when you **** up. The clamps are soft metal and can be removed with a hack saw. Finally I wound the unused wire inside a tube.

These wires are great quality with the extra coating on the outside to protect from rust. They are easy to bend and cut and look good, can barely see them from a distance. The eye loops to screw in where a little too long for my fence meaning when I screwed them in they wanted to come out the other side of the fence board, just as a warning. My main issue which other reviews also said was the clamps for them are rubbish because you can barely get them to clamp meaning the wire slips through and it renders the climbing wire useless, I bought new pliers for the clamps and they did absolutely nothing, however, I popped the clamp on a brick and got my trusty hammer out and that really did the job - whether this means the clamps will rust is yet to be discovered, clamps have held well by doing this and it's been a couple of weeks so fingers crossed this is the solution! Lost a star for the clamp issue and it's a little bit fiddly but good otherwise

These are great, Installed lots of thes in various locations, The product is top quality. Take your time if it's your first time fitting this kit. Once you've clamped them up they stay clammped. Super quality, Probably the best for the money

Robust and good value for money. Used to train stubborn rose bush. Wire is plastic coated steel thread so will be resistant to corrosion. You'll need something decent to cut it with. It also tends to want to unwind and tangle a bit once it's out of the packet but that's manageable if you're careful. Good tensioners, hooks, etc, included. Would I buy it again? Yes.

`i bought this to make supports for climbing plants. The components are very well made and suitable for the job. The instruction booklet is small and some of the diagrams are cryptic, a few words would help. i had some difficulty cutting the steel wire and tried pliers, bolt cutters and a hack saw until, finally settling for tin snips. The cut was ragged and I then had to use electrical wire cutters to trim the rough strands of wire. The next snag was feeding the wire through the hole of the crimps. The ragged ends of wire made this difficult. The crimps then had to be crimped. Fortunately I had a crimping tool for electrical terminals so that was handy. I note that a supplier on Amazon offers a tool which can both cut steel wire and crimp. However, why should you pay extra for a tool you are only going to use once. In summary, I am perfectly satisfied with the results but a bit of advice re curing and crimping would have been helpful.

I bought this to tame a jungle of climbers and tomatoes, and it’s been brilliant. The wire is strong but flexible, easy to cut, and the little fixings make setting it up a breeze. It’s neat, tidy, and keeps everything upright without strangling the plants. Looks professional too, like I suddenly know what I’m doing in the garden.

Much better than expected! Very heavy duty. The hook & eyes were high enough gauge that I needed to predrill holes to hand start them and use a drill and eye/hook bit to secure. The cable was thick enough that I ended up buying a wire cutting and crimper tool. I highly recommend using one - especially for crimping the loop end. I managed to cut and crimp one by hand with a saw and pliers, and that was the only one that came loose and had to be redone. The ones that were properly crimped are all holding firm. The additional tool was cheap - less than $10 and useful for many other tasks, like wire stripping. I used this kit to hang acoustic blankets for a sound studio. The blankets are quite heavy, but this kit did a bang up job. Very impressed with the quality for the price and I still have plenty more turnbuckles left.
