I was always very pleased with how well they cleaned the dishes and how little spotting they left behind compared to other products. I try to remember to add a rinsing agent, but sometimes run out or forget to refill the dispenser, and I still had mostly clean and shiny dishes. The only thing I hated about the All in 1 tablets was the wrapper. I liked that they were individually wrapped to keep them from crumbling or scattering powder in the box, but I hated trying to unwrap them. If I'm handling dirty dishes, my hands get wet and slippery, and it's difficult to open the tiny wrappers. I didn't want to open them with my teeth after handling them with dirty hands, so I was always having to grab the scissors to open them. When the Max in 1 tablets came out recently, I was hesitant to change from my tried and true All in 1, but decided to buy the smallest package they had at the store and at least give them a try. I did like the fact that they came in a compact, easy to open bag rather than the cardboard box that the All in 1s had been in. This seemed like a more practical packaging solution. I didn't realize until I opened the pouch to use one of the tabs for a load of dishes that the individual wrappers I've hated for so long are GONE! These have a tight wrap of some water-proof clear plastic-like material. All you have to do is put it in the dishwasher, and the wrapper dissolves in the wash. I was already pleased with how clean the All in 1 tablets got my dishes. This new product seems to clean at least as well, if not better. I got a new dishwasher at about the same time I changed to these tablets, so it's impossible for me to say how much of the improvement is due to the tablets vs. the new dishwasher. I'm satisfied with these tablets and will continue to buy them. Review: BOTTOMLINE: IT WORKS! And at a great price - EDIT: a friend brought me some flowers in a thick glass vase. I wanted to return the vase like you would if someone delivered something on a plate to you. Well, it wasn't that shiny or attractive to start, just a regular glass vase with etchings. Thought would run through dishwasher, easier than washing it. IT CAME OUT AS SHINY AS CRYSTAL! I was STUNNED. I LOVE these dishwasher tablets and the fact they're cheaper than most, BONUS! ___________________________________________________________ PROS: PACKAGING - I LOVE that it is a kind of wrap around it you don't remove. I have used pods where they were CRUMBLING, falling apart. This coating that dissolves in the dishwashing cycle cures that problem. SCENT - NOT an overwhelming scent, which is huge for someone like me sensitive to scent. BUT does it work? - OH YEAH! OK, so it's just me. I don't have a ton of things with BAKED on stuff, but I don't pre rinse beyond making sure no chunks on dishes and it gets everything squeaky clean! PRICE - GOOD PRICE. I probably could have gotten a better price had I bought a larger quantity, but wanted to TRY first. Next time I will get a bigger box! CONS: NONE SO FAR! If you've tried a bunch of others and weren't satisfied, get the smallest box of this you can find and give it a shot.

Works Great, Have Used for a While, Canister is Easier to Open/Close
I've used Finish tablets for a long time now, and have always been happy with the convenience and cleaning power. At one point I believe they were a Consumer Reports top pick, and I never looked back. Personally, I didn't care when I had to unwrap them before their wrapper was the new dissolving kind. But now you just leave the wrapper on to dissolve. Just make sure your hands aren't moist, but underneath it is just dishwasher detergent :) . The wrapper, dissolving or not, helps keep the power ball (actually a disc) from being lost in the bag or can if it breaks loose. My dishes always come out clean. Once in a while I'll have something hard stuck on (like oatmeal) or something on a serving spoon that occasionally still takes a little scrubbing. My only complaint is that the zipper bag is more of a hassle, easy to open, but I always spend time trying to zipper it tight again. I much prefer the canister version that has a lid that so easily pops open and closed (pictured for comparison). But the trick is, you can buy one of those and reuse. I honestly just dumped this bag into the canister that I had from before. However, if it is really moist and humid where you store this, the zipper-tight bag might be a better option. But if you have that much moisture under your sink, you might have another problem :) . But I must admit I do have a water softener that might help achieve this, and be a big variable for people. Most such detergents know people have hard water and usually do include something to compensate. But if you case is really bad, I believe Finish offers yet another additive to help. But mine is removed by a built-in water softener (Kinetico). I also use the big "Finish Dishwasher Machine Cleaner" once in a a while to keep it clean.

Cleans great once you learn....
I hated these when I first started using them. Time after time, I would have part of the plastic pod stuck inside the soap dispenser after the wash cycle was done, even if I wiped the dispenser before I put the pod in. I got the idea to fold the pod in half, and it made all the difference. No more sticky pod plastic in the soap dispenser. I'm really pleased with the pods as they clean the dishes really well and no spots! I even ordered another package of them since they are the best price for the quality and size of the package.

Great dish detergent
I somehow continue to get different dishwasher tablets than the ones I intend to get, but that isn’t anyone’s fault but mine, haha! When I received these and opened them, they were, alas, not the ones I expected them to be. However, they are still Finish, and they are still great at cleaning the mess off of the dishes in the dishwasher. You can throw some nasty caked on stuff into that dishwasher and your dishes will come out clean, sparkly, and without any white film on them. Everything rinses away beautifully. This brand is by far my favorite dishwasher soap, and it’s a great value to get this big bag on here.

It’s an excellent product
I like that the pods don’t stick together. It works well and the dishes and flatware come out immaculate.

Finally, keeps my Miele Dishwasher looking like new in Los Angeles.
I have used Miele dishwashers for many years. They have all had the internal water softener. Notwithstanding this, I would eventually get a build up of hard water deposits inside. This was the case with Miele tablets, Finish tablets, and Cascade Optimum. I am also using the ridiculously priced Somat and Miele salt for the refills of the water softener, as well as the Somat dishwasher cleaner, which was also over priced. I started to use the Finish Powerball during April, 2020 after using the Finish Dishwasher Cleaner once. After over five months of using the Finish Powerball product, my dishwasher is still looking like new with the shiny stainless steel interior & filter. I would imagine that the internal pumps, valves, hoses, etc. are also clean. Moreover, I have not had any need for the use of the dishwasher cleaner during this time. Unfortunately, I have to now throw away a 9-months supply of Miele and Finish tablets, since the Finish Powerball pods are the only thing I will use in the future. PS: I did try the Cascade Optimum, but it smelt so bad to me that I had to leave the kitchen & wash the dishes again to get rid of the horrible smell. Apparently I am very sensitive to artificially produced odors that are not good for your health ..... Febreze & stuff.

By far the best I have used (I'm 81). Beats the heck out of liquids.
Was skeptical of the claims that a solid tablet of soap could do a better job than the top liquids, which always left residue. However, after cleaning our dishwasher with a solid, and than having the same problem of greasy residue, I checked the comparisons, and bought Finish Max Powerballs. I'm not only convinced, but after many years of hand cleaning crap off dishes after paying to wash them by machine, I am very happy to say that Finish Max does the job, almost perfectly, to my ex-Marine demands. The only thing so far that it did not clean well, was an enameled pan from the toaster oven, with burned grease on it. However, enamel is itself burned-on oil, so I'll have to work on education here. :-) Finish Max is by far the best I have ever used. .
