Solid product!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: after reading reviews i thought i'd give this a try for my son. He plays rugby, and wears braces. I'm glad I chose this. It performs well, fits comfortably and at 10 yrs old he lives the design.

Great mouth guard!
This is a great mouth guard. My son just got braces and an expander and the mouth guard the orthodontist gave us was big, bulky and hard. Super uncomfortable. This one is so much better. It’s soft and flexible. My son is super happy with it.

Too small for my 12 yr old boy
Too small for my 12 yr old. Had to return and order the adult size.

Works well for braces, but is loose over retainers
This mouth guard has been on the market for years. I first used it about 10yrs ago when I had braces, and I loved it more than any other mouth guard! It fit so well and it’s much softer than standard mouth guards. Later on in life, I noticed I had bruxism at night. I wanted to wear a mouth guard at night over my retainer. I was hopeful this would work, but it is too big to fit appropriately over a retainer. It’s for braces only

Fit
Does not fit and cannot close my mouth while I sleep. Starting rubbing my gums leading to bleeding eventually at the top, and ortho recommended to sleep so I wouldn’t chip teeth but can’t even close my mouth or get comfortable. Even tried cutting it so my mouth could close but even then nothing worked. Wanted this to work but just didn’t.

Be careful with sizes
Mouth guard for youth labeled age 11+ is tiny. Didn’t fit in small 12 year olds mouth. Product is not labeled well. Then ordered adult size and it fit well. It turns out adult size is labeled 12+. So sizing was confusing. Product itself is good.

Very durable and comfortable - product has lasted several sports seasons with constant washing and is still in great condition.

Der Shock Doctor Mundschutz ist eine solide Wahl für alle, die eine Zahnspange tragen und beim Sport zusätzlichen Schutz benötigen. Besonders positiv fällt auf, dass er sich einfach anpassen lässt. Dank des speziellen Designs sitzt er bequem und bietet einen guten Halt, ohne unangenehm zu drücken. In der Praxis erfüllt er seinen Zweck zuverlässig: Er schützt die Zähne und die Zahnspange gut vor Stößen, was gerade bei Kontaktsportarten wichtig ist. Die Atmung bleibt dabei relativ ungehindert, und auch das Sprechen ist mit etwas Gewöhnung möglich. Fazit: Ein zuverlässiger und gut sitzender Mundschutz, der besonders für Zahnspangenträger eine empfehlenswerte Wahl ist. Einfach in der Handhabung und tut, was er soll.

Il protège effectivement les dents. Se pose sur un appareil d’orthodontie. MAIS il ne tient pas sur la dentition si on ne serre pas les dents.
