Q: Does this watch ever pinch your arm hairs occasionally? My old G-Shock which is finally beginning to wear too much in the band, always does this

Never had that problem. Looking at the case and band fit the watch band raises the case a bit, but I never realized it until now.

Q: How do you change it from a 12 hour format to 24 hours?

Push adjust then push mode, then push mode again. Then u see the 12 hours on display. Then push forward button. 24 shows. Then push adjust to get back to 24 hours display. Matt b

Q: what's the left hand side indicator on top where the little triangular indicators appear & dissapear with the seconds for?

Actually it does have a use. If you quickly or immediately need to count out some seconds (10 or 20 for example) you can easily do it with the indicator. You don't have open the timer and some people find it easier than watching the seconds numbers.

Q: Can the band be replaced with the nylon nato/zulu straps ? has anyone actually replaced the band with one that isn't cheap plastic or rubber?

I have replaced the straps with Casio's replacement straps and those work great!
