For a 6KW stove, you would need 35-40Lb of rocks. Peridotite Rocks, Igneous Rocks, Or Volcanic Rocks are the most popular stones for a sauna stove. Place stones LOOSELY around the elements. Do NOT pack tightly, as good airflow is crucial for proper sauna stove ventilation. Leave at least an inch gap between the rocks so that air can pass freely. Air must circulate through the stove.
