Prismacolor Markers Are Top Of The Line!
I’ve been wanting these markers for a long time but haven’t taken the leap until now because of the price, but let’s be real, prismacolor markers are awesome and if you like to color they are super worth it. I’ve had mine for 2 days and I’ve already started messing around with them. They are smooth, apply very rich, even color. I’m a fan. Feel like I’m already in danger of ordering more colors. They also make colored pencils that I’d highly recommend. Those I’ve had for years and the colors are super rich and beautiful to blend.

These markers are vibrant and last relatively long for the average drawing artist.
The entire Prismacolor series has not yet dissapointed me... you will read many people who call themselves "professional artists" say that Prismacolor is a beginners set of markers and brands like Copic are better in all aspects. I have both brands and the Copic marker set I have is already starting to kick the bucket after about 10 drawings... my prismacolor markers are still going strong. The markers have double ends which is great for finer details (although I almost wish the fine point side was slightly finer) and also great for large areas you want the same color. I would reccommend these colors to any academic or mid-level artist who is on a relatively low budget. These markers have lasted me about 10 full color drawings so far and the only one that is starting to struggle is the black one (they should probably include 2-3 black markers in the set and then it would be perfect). But for under $70, this is a great set that you can count on and produce great artwork with it. I am giving this 5 stars, not because they are the "best" markers out there, but because they are the best value for the quality they are capable of producing. I say go for it! Let your imagination run wild!

cheap, and a great place to start
I bought the 24 set from amazon and these are some pretty good markers for the price. They indeed deliver rich and vibrant colors. They might not be huge professional markers (like copic markers) but still are way cheaper for the people who don't have that kind of budget. There are only a few things I have to complain about these markers. The color labels are misleading, and the marker's color is usually a lot darker than what it says on the label, but that isn't too much of a problem. Second, they don't blend as well. You'll still see streaks, but they still overall blend a lot better than regular markers. If you're thinking about buying the 24 set, you won't get too much of a variety of colors, since they mostly come with primary and secondary colors, which are the basic of the basic. Like the other reviewers said, you might want to get some grays for shading. Also, if you draw human figures a lot, a set of skin tones is a must. The 24 pack only comes with one skin tone (peach) and that won't look good enough. Since I'm an illustrator, I draw human characters a lot, so I had to go out and buy some skin shades. Also, these will bleed quite a lot on regular paper. You might want to get marker paper to keep it from bleeding so much and not waste too much ink. Is this a top professional marker? well, no, but is this a good place to start for beginners who are leaning towards being a serious artist and want to use something other than regular markers? absolutely.

I love this markers
Ive had this markers for over a month now and they still work like new. i use them at least once a day and they still paint like the first day i got them. They blend super good and I've made some crazy art with them. I got them for super cheap and i really thing i got a really good deal with them. I'm planning on getting the 48 pack next and i will sure buy more prismacolor products in the future.

Love these, great addition to my collection. Bold colours that apply flat, just like I need, and super easy to blend. (P.s. Use Bristol board with these, it gets the best results!)
