Love this cord!
I work in construction, and saw one of these cords on a construction site. I was amazed at the simplicity of the locking mechanism and how well it worked. I immediately looked them up and eventually bought Three 50' 12AWG cords. If I need 100' or 150' of cord I just lock them all together - easier to store and wind/unwind than a 100' cord, and they hold tight! Not every plug works perfect with this, but 90% of mine do. Not much if any more expensive than comparable quality extension cords, so why not get one with a locking end! I show a lot of my coworkers the cords and they love them too.

Quality product
Love the lock on the female end of the plug. Used as base cord in garage with same-length extension for all corners of the yard for blower and hedger. Hanging on broad hook by outlet. Managed, in my old age, to slice into the original with the edger. This is a better product, higher-rated, anyway. Reasonable price.

Excellent, convenient locking scheme, but it does not work with all cords
This is an excellent cord locking scheme, but it does not work with all cords because it is depends on the holes in the "blades" of the male plug end being a certain distance out from the plastic molded part of the plug end. I have several older cords with male plug end blades that are just a little too short for the locking mechanism to engage the holes. The Prime cord locking scheme is not dependent on blade length, and it also cinches down on the blades too, making tighter electrical connection. Cerro's Stayplug does not do that, but can be engaged with only one hand. Prime's locking scheme effectively requires both hands to lock or unlock, making it a little less convenient than Cerro's Stayplug locking scheme. Prime's locking cord ends are also higher quality, with nickel-plated solid blades on the plug end. Still, the Cerro Stayplug cords are less expensive than Prime's locking cords, so these cords are certainly a good value when the price is right as they were over the holidays (50-ft. for twenty bucks)

My favorite extension cord I've owned
My favorite extension cord I've owned. I've only had it for a couple of months so I'm not sure about the durability, but it seems like it will last. I really like the way the female end locks onto the male end. It's very helpful for yard work. It also lights up on the female end when it's got power going to it. The price is good for a 14 gauge cord. So far I'm satisfied with the purchase. Edit: After about six months of using the two of these cords that I bought, one of them stopped working so well. I guess the wiring inside of it is messed up, because it tends to go in and out a little bit while using it if I'm moving it around a lot. It's still usable if it's going to be stationary, but for yard work it's not much use anymore. I've always been careful to not twist it up when storing it, and I didn't abuse it at all. Maybe it's just this one cord that's faulty, as the other is still working fine. But, one out of two isn't very good.

Well made cord, like the locking feature
It's a good cord. I tested it briefly on my compressor which should actually require a 12 gauge cord at this length and there was no overheating so I'm fairly certain it'll last a long time in normal usage. I like the locking feature but I found that a few of my oldest 16 gauge cords fail to latch which is no big deal.

Great deal on heavy cords
Lays out nicely in warm weather. I haven't used in winter yet. Appears well made and tough with nicely molded ends. Fantastic price for this heavier gauge cord to run power tools safely and efficiently. I can find no weak points so far with these cords. I use them for circular saws, table saws and various power equipment.

Good heavy-duty electric cord.
Good heavy-duty electric cord. I really like the locking feature, and the plug lights up when it's properly connected. I use this cord for running a Remington chain saw, chain saw pole pruner, and a leaf vac, all of which require 14/3. I put it together with the Cordpro Cord Organizer which keeps the cord from tangling and makes for a clean compact unit to carry to and from the job site.
