Can this fuel be used effectively with a Jetboil stove? Is it isobutane/propane?

If it fits the canister it can be used.There is little difference between butane/propane and isobutane/propane.Isobutane is a structural isomer of butane. It has the same molecular formula as butane, but the structural formula is different. Does this adhere to EN417 specifications. I want to use it with Jetboil stove

I'm not sure what the EN417 is, but I do have a friend that uses his jetboil stove with this type of fuel can

Assuming it is refillable, there are a few things that needs to be considered: Location, Location, Location. Source tank. Connections Hoses Temperatures Always remember: Heat chases the cold. The procedure would be as follows [*NOT AN EXPERT. OTHER "PROCEDURES" EXIST. I MAY MISS A POINT. MANY ASSUMPTIONS ARE MADE WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS]: Connect the line to the *source tank and bleed it of air before connecting it to the **receiving tank (if possible). Using dry-ice and acetone or denatured alcohol, in a 5 gallon bucket (or smaller), will lower the temperature of the slurry to under -50C. Submerge the receiving tank into this slurry for a short time. A "short time" means, until the receiving can becomes the same temperature as the slurry and it stops boiling. [This also assumes that you have more than 1 brain cell in your head and you use proper gloves and OUTDOORSNESS] ******NO SPARKS, OPEN FLAMES, SMOKING, SLOW DANCING, ETC.. Connect the hose from the source tank to the receiving can and re-submerge for a short time (Again, "short time" is relative"). Alternatively, you could weigh the can before you fill it and fill it to its correct weight (instead of re-submerging). It/I, can/would also assume that IF the can is empty, then I need 7.75 oz of fuel from the source, in order to fill the receiver can completely. OR... put the source can on a scale instead, and subtract the weight, as it fills the receiving tank. *Source. This would refer to a larger tank of which you would like to transfer gasses from. **Receiving. This would refer to this item, of which questions have been asked/answered. This does NOT refer to the Yamaha your PlayStation is connected to for surround sound. *****CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHEN DEALING GASSES PRESSURES AND THE FLAMMABLE AND/OR EXPLOSIVE POSSIBILITIES. *****CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN FOR POSSIBLE SOURCES OF LEAKS; E.G. HOSES, TANKS, GAUGES, CONNECTIONS, ADAPTERS, ETC.. *****I CAN'T SPELL G.E.D. BUT THEY GAVE ME ONE. Warm, Very Warm!

Lightweight, easy to carry, takes up no room, and easy to refill. Long lasting, heating up many meals and hot drinks. Good value for the money.

Last a long time. Stable base

Seems to last longer than the standard green bottles.. I also like that the bottle is a larger diameter but shorter in height. It's less likely to tip over

Fuel works as fuel should

I have a hard time to really gauge this on much more than a pass/fail rating, but given the option of 1-5 stars I will give it a shot. One of the 4 canisters had a dent which could be from shipping, but I will never know. I did use this one first and it worked just fine. I am on my 2nd of 4 canisters and no issues to this point. I use this with a small ultra-light backpacking stove also from amazon and the two work flawlessly. I only wish this fuel would be a bit cheaper but I guess I can wish in one hand and... you know the story. I see no reason to not buy more once I see the need.

Coleman fuel canister

I bought this can for my new camp stove, still to be delivered. Still the coleman fuel was delivered fast, and packaged correctly, no leaks or dents.I can only leave a update after I get the camp stove and cook something on it.First I will try something easy like heating water for Instant coffee or cup o soup. Still I am having fun planning on ways to pack this fuel can in my b.o.b. or my regular hiking backpack. UPDATE: the fuel canister worked with my new MSR pocket rocket stove. The fuel with the stove boiled water in under 4 minutes, so I will buy again when needed.

Great little portable butane can

Came quick , was as advertised , use the butane to start model jet turbine engine , after 5 or 6 starts have plenty left for more starts

Works fine, but not a good value since the double sized container can be found at almost half the price of this one.
