Great vocal mic, reasonable price
GREAT, clear sounding mic. I'm a drummer / backing vocalist in a rock band, and this is one of the few mics I've tried that picks up my vocals while isolating them from the drums. For under $100 this is a rare find.

Clarity and versatility
We are a 3 piece band. A family band. My daughter is 15, she’s got a nice contralto going without too much power. My son, 13, is adjusting from his voice change, he went from an alto to a unsettled baritone. Lots of power, though, and perfect pitch. As for me, I am a bass who can go pretty high. We do the range of songs, from Obladi-Oblada to Fly me to the moon, from classic rock to classic jazz. Some we scream, some we whisper. Also, we do not have a microphone dedicated to one person. This is because we each play 4 or 5 or 6 instruments and we keep switching. Almost every song has a different set up. Sometimes we sing lead, sometimes back up, depending. Ok, so now that you understand the situation, I need to say that I bought just one of those seinheiser. I wanted to try it and replace the old EV 967 I believe is their number that we had. We loved the EV. We put them through the Bose L2 system. It has a tune controller. That little controller helps a lot to define the hardware you plug into it. That was for the EV. So I tried the Seinheiser. It shines through it. It is so clear, so vibrant, so accurate. We are studying blending, dynamics, articulations, harmonies. We can hear everything. The Seinheiser project every little details. So, I bought 3 more of the Seinheiser e935. One on the drums, one on the bass, one on the guitar and one on the keyboard. They are all adjusted the same: same volume, same eq, same trim, same reverb. We love them. Also, they are heavy. They feel like good craftsmanship. My children are careful with the gear in general, but, still, they’re kids, and adult size, and clumsy. Those microphone haven’t moved. They stay with the same qualities. They’ve been dropped, bumped, slapped a few times. They’re still going strong. We do three rehearsal per week. It has been a blast, these Seinheiser have helped a lot. It forces to be aware of what we sing. No muddy sound here. Just plain music when we can manage it.

Perfect and amazing mic. No wonder why Amy winehouse loved it.
Perfect perfect! This is Amy winehouse mic. No wonder why she loves it. Sounds fantastic and good feedback rejection. How ever the sensitivity is a bit hotter and louder which is perfect. Love this mic. Would recommend. The built quality is heavy and good. It capture every detail of singing into it.

Great Upgrade
Ideal upgrade to my Shure SM58. Added clarity and brightness in live gigs.

Solid mic
This is the real thing, works great on any vocalslist and sounds better/more polished than an SM58. Durable and worth the price. The clip is just 'ok' but works just fine

Lots of mid and higher range detail, no feedback
Great mid range detail, noticed it on the first recording I made, forces me to be a more exacting and controlled vocalist. I bought the 935 and the 945 at the same time to compare on stage as well as in the studio, I kept the 935 because it is virtually immune to feedback, which was the downfall, for me, of the 945 (see my 945 review for details.) No feedback even with my stage monitor really cranking! High range seems to be a bit boosted, but great depth and detail. The 945 has better low range volume, which can be boosted with EQ on the 935. Since I’m a solo act, and do not have a sound tech, I would have preferred it to have a switch, but that’s a little gripe about a really fine mic.

Good value for the money
This hefty microphone delivers good sound to your speakers. However, it does have an occasional feedback boom when starting out.

Good as always
As always, Sennheiser has good quality. I know they aren't as good as they used to be but nothing is. However, I am always impressed by the build quality and sound I get from these mics. Sturdy, and yet very sensitive, they have excellent response, and good noise suppression. For on stage, live performance, they are hard to beat.

I can not say enough about this mic, It is clear and cuts out the back feed, and you can hear yourself very clear. My son who also plays in a Rock band used it and he also says its the business and has got one on order, I had a hell of a job getting it back off him. I have been round the shops and tested them and looked at the price, non could match this price. If you want a good Mic, this is the one for you.
