Work well for catching crickets if placed in the right location. Doesn't seem to attact crickets.
i mainly use these to catch crickets that get in the house and garage. They are pretty easy to set up and the glue is really tacky. My cats don't seem to mess with them either. For catching cricket the location where you place these really makes a different. Seems like if the traps are in the normal path the crickets move in it catches them. It does not seem to attact the crickets and catch them. Sometime moving them only a few inches makes all the difference if they catch anything or not.

PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL for rodents, and great for Pill Bugs + Spiders
Really good product for a slab home with spiders. and also Pill Bugs from outdoor landscaping with heavy mulch. The "rolly Polly" pill bugs have been really bad this year with heavy rains lasting weeks. I just cut out a single square. Place it at the corners of the doorway where they're entering. I'll turn them around on occasion so they fill up the trap. And then I'll replace the traps every week or two. For spiders, I'll place them along baseboards, behind appliances and furniture. I've gotten some really gnarly looking large spiders with these specific traps. When I have a basement, I have no problem with abundant spiders. They catch the bugs I'd rather not have in the house. When I have a 70-year-old slab townhouse in the brown recluse spider range? My inclination is to catch them before they make it upstairs. ALSO PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL FOR OTHER PESTS. In a garage, multiple attics, or basements, these are perfect for nabbing the occasional field mouse before it sets.up shop for the winter. Nobody wants Mice to nest in the walls or inside cars. I actually prefer the heavier plastic trays for diagnosing rodents. And you will need stronger traps for rats. But these are really nice backup for mice. (Like you really need these for something else. But if you get some ice, you're accomplishing that much more) I have caught at least one field mouse on these traps when placed behind my garage chest freezer. (House backs up to a wooded ravine. So it's always a possibility). If you find a mouse on these traps and it's still alive, simply dip the trap into the toilet, and drown the mouse. More humane than throwing a living mouse attached to a trap in the trash. ONLY NEGATIVE I can think of is that, these are attractive to birds. I had these placed very far back in the garage. And I've had 2 separate birds caught on one. So they must smell these just like the mice. I poured vegetable oil over the bird attached to the trap, which frees the bird from the sticky substance.. I let the bird fall off into a bed of ground cover. And then I got out the hose, and used the hose sprayer to drench the ground cover bed. hopefully giving the bird a chance to wash off the oil,.and hang out long enough to safely dry out and recover. Or at least giving it the last best humane option.

Very effective but not that long-lasting
Works but stickiness doesn't last super long. Also, I'm shocked at what it catches! If you don't mind folding these every few weeks and picking up ones filled with dead bugs, then it's perfect because no toxic chemicals are needed. (Though I'm not sure if pets will mess with them, our dog didn't care about them.)

So Far Nothing Caught
Two Month Update: It has now been nearly two months and I’ve placed these all over my home including the garage. Only one trap caught something and it was a single ant. All other traps are clean except for a few dust bunnies. I was very shocked that even the garage placed one didn’t catch anything whatsoever. I tried placing them in various places where they’d have the best chase of success but they apparently don’t work for me. And I do occasionally see a small spider or something around so it’s not like there’s nothing to catch. My home is very clean but the garage is detached and full of webs etc so I was highly shocked that that one caught nothing as well. Oh well maybe others will have better luck. Original Review: Well I’ve had them installed for a few days now and they’ve caught nothing. I placed 3 of these traps in different places and not a single thing has been trapped. I had a fly fly directly past it several times and never seemed interested. I have one in the garage where a sizable spider common crawls past my cameras and now that I put a trap there he apparently is ignoring his/her favorite route across my bicycle. The spider probably is the size of a quarter when including his legs. But while he has set off my motion cameras on several occasions walking across the bicycle hung just below my camera, now I haven’t gotten a single motion alert. So I guess it’s working by keeping it away but it’s probably just going a different way. Also that stupid fly has been driving crazy for days and these traps don’t seem to attract them. Maybe they only work with swarms of insects that just happen to run into them. I had hope they’d be attracted but no such luck. My home is very clean but this fly entered while I had a window open and now he annoys me at night by buzzing by me. I’ve tried to hit him with newspapers and towels but it’s the Top Gun of flies. And that spider in my garage is never visible when I go out there looking for him.

The product certainly works. We bought them because we had had the house sprayed for spiders only to find out that spraying didn’t work for ‘Huntsman’ spiders so we had to explore other options. They work great places in areas along walls near entry points of the home. The spiders try to hide in them along the way. It’s a horrible way to go though because once they’re stuck they die slowly. I suggest you check them regularly to 1. Replace them and 2. Put the poor things out of their misery. Photo below of what I found a couple of days ago.

Works good as it should. Used this for grain bugs and they definitely got stuck there which was the point. Would recommend
