I saw some reviews that complained of the condition of this when it arrived but this came to me in perfect condition. It is very well made and the chime is excellent. I'm perfectly happy with it.

Good sound, nicely made. It's hanging in my house now, waiting for better weather, and I may never put it out. I'm enjoying it up close!

I purchased this wind chime and it came with the beak and tail wrapped for protection. The protection did not work well because both were broken off of the actual chime. I sent it back and ordered another one, and that too had a broken beak. I will try one more time but I'm fairly frustrated that if the packaging is so chincy that it keeps breaking in shipment...As for the actual product, the first one was nice, but the second one made me re-think how nice the first one was. The second had better painting on the loon and looked more refined. I looked back at the first one and it looked messy and unkempt.

most of the chimes are nice, but the set i received had its beak broken, repaired and painted with a completely different material/paint, and in shipping the very tip of the beak broke off again. the repaired portion was much softer material, and the paint was a flat black, and looks like it was repaired and sanded down to kind of look like a beak.
