Great choke and great service
First time using it at trap today. Upon cleaning discovered the choke got destroyed. Fired out of Moss. 500 20ga. Federal #8 target loads. Hope to get a replacement. Disappointed EDIT: Contacted Carlson customer support and they are happy to replace choke. Just have to pay for shipping. Also learned that this was due to the choke recess/threading to be non concentric to the bore. This is an issue stemming from Mossbergs factory. Currently trying to resolve with Mossberg. As far as I’m concerned this is NO FAULT to Carlson. Great support on Carlson’s side Edit: after getting new barrel and installing replacement choke sent by Carlson no issues observed. Works great and shot about 100 rds so far. Confirmed no damage to choke and throws a nice pattern. Great company and great products

Nice setup
Good choke tube, it fits fine and shoots well

Bought for 20 ga.
Wanted to add a little length to a shorter barreled SxS for smoother swing. Carlson chokes are about +.25 inch longer than Briley. Not really able to discern any differences in pattern spread. More affordable.

Worked well at improving the pattern on my son 20 Ga with steel shot.

Carlsons are our go to choke tubes
Always good quality from carlsons and these chokes throw nice consistent patterns. Extended choke with knurled outside allow for quick and easy change in the field or on the range. We put a modified extended choke on my 10 year old son’s Mossberg 500 bantam youth 20 gauge. He’s been doing well smoking clays and harvesting birds in the field.

Correct Choke Tube for Weatherby SA-08 20 Gauge
This is the proper Carlsons choke tube for the Weatherby SA-08 20 gauge.

End blew apart
We have never had this happen. It had been tightened right before use so it wasn't loose. The end of the choke shredded when the gun was shot. Only used this choke 3 times before it was trash. Not impressed.
