Same Product and Quality, Lower Price
On a whim I checked the online price of this HP black ink cartridge and I was surprised to find that it was less than the price of the same cartridge in my local stores. What's more, Amazon could deliver it the very next day. I've been very happy with my HP printer and the ink it requires, so I see no reason to buy my future ink cartridges anywhere else.

I HATE HP.
TOO EXPENSIVE BUT HP has figured out how to reject remanufactured cartridges!

Works great!
Just as described. I always by the HP brand as it’s made for the printer and doesn’t clog. Good quality ink.

Easy to install and can buy just one color as needed.
I don't know why I ran out of just Cyan on my printer but Amazon was the only place I could find just that one color instead of buying several colors. This is the brand and size for my printer so it went into place easily and is working great.

Tired of HP's GOUGING ~
HP has added chips so that generics won't work, and neither will refills. Although the product works well, the advertising is extremely deceptive (it does NOT deliver nearly as many copies as HP promises). As far as quality, what other products does one pay SO MUCH FOR yet receive so little? With a black cartridge, it's not even possible to see how much ink is left, so it's likely more is remaining even when the printer says the cartridge must be refilled. A terrible value for one's money ~ Extremely disappointed in HP. Will never buy one of their products again. I'm switching to Brother, whose quality is comparable and cost to operate is MUCH less. This was found online, "A study conducted by Consumer Reports in 2013 found that "Big-Box" store bought inkjet ink costs between $13 and $ 75 per OUNCE" (YES, you read that correctly). 962/962XL IS inkjet ink. Doing the math, this is the equivalent of $ 1,664 - $ 9,600 PER GALLON (YES, the math is correct; also, these figures are from 2013 ~ The costs of cartridges has continued to rise out of control since then so costs are that much more). On top of that, the latest cartridges I have received have BOTH come in damaged ink boxes. My cartridges are lasting half as long as previously (while printing off FEWER pages); is there less ink than promised in each cartridge? If not, what is the issue? Are they purposely drying up faster so they HAVE TO be replaced more often??? And EVERY TIME one cartridge dries up, my computer tells me another cartridge is almost out (coincidence? even though there is still ample ink available). I am tired of the gouging of HP with the consumer, and do not know HOW this is permitted. One excuse after another. Imagine paying $ 2 - $ 10 K PER GALLON for any other liquid. There would be an uproar. Individuals complain all over on FB, but HP simply DOES NOT CARE. Take your money elsewhere.

Cancelled the subscription service for our printer and all the cartridges would not work anymore. Bought these to use and they work properly.

I bought a cartridge which wasn't HP, but the seller promised that it would work with my printer. In the end I didn't save, because it didn't work, so I had to pay twice. Learned my lesson.
