Great for drone
Worked great. Using for dji mavic mini controller and this added range. The places that do the mod get these and charge 30-60 like titan drones.... Just order a few these their what they sell for $60.

instability on 5gz and don't work well on "crowded" desktop I/O
I don't like how close the bend is to the base of the connector... so it makes things hard when you use these on a desktop that has a lot of stuff plugged in... i also noticed that i have had noticeably higher latency and i get lag spikes relatively often... at least when i am on 5Ghz wifi 5 (802.11AC) i have not done a lot of testing on the wifi 4 2.4 Ghz (802.11N) as it performs notably worse regardless of antenna...

Good replacement part.
I didnt pay attention to size. These are pretty long compared to what we had before. But they work well. During our move, we lost the antennas from the back of our tower computer.

easy to install, but not a huge improvement
I think the longer antenna probably has the same "active" length as the shorter ones, but the length did make it easy to mount so the signal was not shielded by a multitude of wires and the computer case.

Big, very big
These antenna work very well, but are over a foot long. Keep this in mind if you're purchasing them.

DOA, useless
Received antennas, replaced a working but small 4dbi antenna, and lost all signal. Tested antennas on a few other computers to be sure, and in all cases they were about as effective as taping a wooden stick to the side of the computer. Since antennas are really just pieces of wire, I figured the only thing that could be causing them to not work would be a break in that wire. So removed the plastic shroud on one of the new antennas, and sure enough, the solder joint between the antenna element and the coax termination was broken. Since both of the antennas in the pack failed to work, the second one probably has the same problem. Either the antennas were used as drumsticks somewhere in the shipping process, or they were shipped defective. Its a shame because they seem like decent antennas. I had the tools to attempt a solder repair, but the coax termination is a very fine wire ~2mm long, and the repair was unsuccessful because the shielding got shorted to the conductor. Oh well. I'm requesting a refund. TL;DR Antenna element not actually connected inside antenna, rendering it useless as a wooden stick.

Works pleasantly well.
Boosted my signal from two bars to four (of five) on my desktop. On my surveillance system, it pulled in signals from far parts of the property that rarely reached the base unit before.

These do not work for 802.11ac signals
I was looking to improve my wifi signal in the far corner of my house and read great reviews for these antennas so I ordered them. I should have read the specs more closely as 802.11ac isn't listed as supported. These do not work for 802.11ac signals my signal dropped in half after installing them. Easy to install and was excited to test her out only to be disappointed. If you are using older wifi technology these may do the trick for you, but not for the 802.11ac signal. I am returning them.

Is indeed boosted the tranmission range. Previously certain corner connection always drop but after replaced this antenna hardly get connection drop anymore.
