I love the weightlifting gym buddy journal. It is easy to follow and provides much more than just a list of exercises. With the helpful hints, tips, and a link to instruction for each day's workout anyone can pick up this journal and begin their workout journey. This is perfect for the beginner as well as someone who needs a change in their workout. I have 2 minor complaints. Nothing earth shattering . The helpful hints need to be a darker color and it would be nice to have a place to put your pen. Neither of these issues will keep me from buying additional journals for my use as well as purchasing journals as gifts. Buy the nutrition Sidekick journal also. It is a great companion along side the weightlifting journal. Give the journals a try. Customer service is A+. Money well spent.

Only give it 3 stars because my Nutritional book came with what appears to be a misprint in the calculation pages for calorie in take. Wasted a lot of time trying to do math that was never going to add up because the line items were switched around.. 😒

Edited to add: We had no problem getting our money back from the company once we returned the books. A++ for excellent customer service!!! The workouts are redundant and provide little variety. We bought these books based on the reviews, but they are not a good fit for us. This might be good for people who have never worked out before and need help getting started. We feel that the workouts we write on our own are superior to the ones in the book. Also, there are many grammatical errors throughout the book (personal pet peeve). Happy lifting to all!

Full of great workouts and advice. I'd highly recommend buying if you have any interest in working out/ losing weight. Cant wait for journals 2 -4 to be released now
