This is an excellent mechanical pencil. It writes really smooth, feels comfortable and the price is what I would pay for a non plastic pencil. I like grip feel on it. My only complaint would be I ordered the silver color but got dark blue instead. I recommend the Staedtler Hexagonal mechanical pencil if you’re looking for a even more high quality mechanical pencil. Overall I am pleased.

This is a pencil that comes from one of the absolute finest manufacturers of mechanical pencils. I love it.

Love this pencil. Heavy, sturdy, tactile, glides across the paper. Used it briefly for drafting, but enjoy using it for illustration. Staedtler is known for quality products. Wish this pencil came with an eraser on the back, helps when you're on the move. Love the label feature for the lead type. Looking forward to using this pencil for the coming years.

Best mechanical pencil I've ever used, way better than the cheap ahh plastic ones. Feels very sturdy and solid and will for sure last me for as long as I need to write everyday. My only complant would be the tiny eraser but as far as I know thats normal for nice mechanical pencils. I like the color and it contrasts well with the other metallic parts of the pencil. Overall I would recommend this if you are in school or accounting or something.

1. It is made in metal and not plastic. That is a huge plus. 2. I have used it for only 1 day, but it is balanced, not too light not too heavy, and feels great 3. I also like the color. 4. I am just not sure about the non-smooth section where it leans on my fingers. I hope I will feel comfortable after long writing sessions.

Ya tenía otros dos, el azul en 0.5 y el plateado en 0.7. Son de gran calidad, en España es imposible conseguirlos. Son prácticos, cómodos, de metal... Otra de las cosas que me gusta, muy al tipo de un modelo que tengo de Linex, es que tiene una ruedita giratoria para poner la dureza de la mina. En mi caso, como suelo usar HB, B y H me va de lujo. El único punto en contra, que la punta no es retráctil. Pero en un estuche normal y corriente no e estropean, que los uso todos los días. Para guardar en bote de bolis, con la punta hacia arriba, como con otros modelos que tengo de otras marcas.es difícil que se is estropee la punta.

As someone who enjoys the supposed dying art of hand drawing, I thought it worthwhile upgrading my ageing Staedtlers to something with a bit more substance and longevity. What can I say, these are a beautifully made and designed piece of kit, with a nice weight and premium feel to them. I bought the 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 2.0mm versions which have been on my desk since day 1, are still a joy to use, and have drawn a number of comments from colleagues. For those of you buying a 2.0mm one, you'll need a lead pointer as there is not one included in the cap, and care needs to be taken when selecting one, Staedtler's own blue tub-type pointer will not accept these pencils without careful modification. Unsure why these should be Japanese market only, as surely they'd be snapped up in Europe and the Americas??

I love the blue color of this. I think this mechanical pencil is very underrated. It's probably not the very best mechanical pencil out there, but its still pretty good. Feels high quality. I wish they sold the Pen version of this in the North American market, but unfortunately it seems its still exclusive in Japan or other countries.
