Noise-X Foam Bullet Ear Plugs 2 Pairs x 12 Packs by Noise-X

The best earplugs, I’ve used them for over 11yrs as I’m now a light sleeper after 2 kids and a very loud snorer in the house lol but sleep soundly with these.

Like many others, I had been purchasing these in bulk for years as they were good quality dense mouldable foam and kept out all the neighbour and building noise I suffer whilst trying to sleep. Recently re-ordered and was appalled that the trusted product is not the same at all! The bullet shape is still there and they are still pink - so from the side in packaging they look almost the same, BUT, they have a cross shape on the straight end and are more squishy. After one night of disturbances I called PROFOOT who distribute them - they confirmed they have had lots of complaints and they are dealing with this issue and vow to get back in touch when they have an answer! The supplier in China (but of course!) is the culprit it seems. I cannot believe that no one has quality checked and that at the very least a new design or consumer warning on the packaging has not been applied. Trading standards? We all love a product we can trust and keep buying - what do we do now? Who else makes dense foam bullet shape ear plugs like Noise-X used to? It was agony trying out and spending loads on the range available in the shops and online - gap in the market? YES! It seems the product switch occurred in around July to September last year (2021). No 'old' stock available. If you have bought the 'new' style contact Profoot and then email/write your complaint for compensation/replacement when they have it sorted. Its no small thing to be 'hoodwinked' like this especially when bulk buying spending more than £25 upwards...

I've tried them all. but none of them even come close to these. Living with an extreme snorer I simply could not live without these. They are so comfortable and gently expand to fill your ear and thus block out noise. They are very effective!

I used to love this product, I am hypersensitive to noise and can't sleep without earplugs, and these were real life savers for me. HOWEVER, at some point the formula has changed and now they are awful. Too hard so they are painful to wear, dry out your skin, impact wax and don't cancel much noise! I'm going to find a new favourite brand.

I must have been wearing these ear plugs for 12 years and they've been amazing. So why oh why have you changed the design??? They are now dreadful!! Thin, far too soft, lost any kind of structure to them. Literally dreadful and joy of joys I bought 20 odd boxes of them. So gutted about this, they were perfect as they were.

Why on earth did they change the design of these earplugs??? They no longer block sound anywhere near as well and as a result i have had many nights broken and I am exhausted. The new design is awful, please change it back, and , at least change the product image so it matches the new terrible design.
