Buck Knives 660 Folding Pursuit Large Folding Hunting Knife with Guthook, 3-5/8" 420HC Steel Blade

I went with the Pro because of the orange and black handle, so it would be easy to find. I also wanted a folding handle, so I could carry it in my pocket or a pack and not in a sheath. The action on the knife when you open and close it is very smooth along with a very sharp blade, and I like the added gut hook and up graded steel, its main use will be for gutting deer/elk and other tasks.

The blade quality is what you’d expect from buck knife. The handle seems very cheap but we’ll see how it hold up. The knife lock is solid and functions great and the overall weight is very light. Speeding over 100$ for a plastic handle seems unreasonable. If it was rubber with plastic I would feel a bit happier with my purpose. However can’t give it a bad review unless it failed and it hasn’t yet

Overall I think this is a nice knife that fills a good niche as a do-it-all hunting and dressing knife. My plan is to just carry this and a breast saw this hunting season. The rubbery grip feels good in hand, though possibly a little light weight. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because it really needs a pocket clip instead of the cheap nylon belt sheath that doesn't fit the knife well. One hand operation is good. I'll probably try to find a better sheath for it.

Very light but seems durable. Blade is sharp and that's rare these days when ordering knives. I'll update my review as I use this for hunting.

Buck is a great product. Costs more but will last life times.

Purchased as Christmas gift for my son. It was on his wishist. It was just as he wanted. He loves it.
