Body Solid Olympic Sleeve Adapter

Works as advertised to convert standard 1" bar to Olympic 2". I purchased three for a power line vertical leg press. I like that they are extremely hard plastic and not metal so there is less friction when removing the plates. The rounded end also helps. You should note that the rounded end cap is also removable and allows you to cut to a customize size if necessary. (You should cut from the cap end and use a chop saw with appropriate blade for cutting plastic to get a vertical cut to ensure cap fits back on snug/square) When adjusting the set screw be careful not to over tighten. Works great in a vertical position and stays in place. I have not tried horizontally yet so I'm not sure how well set screw would stay in place that way.

Liked this one because it was longer (added the ability to add more plates) than the competition. Did not appreciate the lackluster packaging though. However, it was super easy to install and works just fine.

I received the body solid sleeve adapter and found it very easy to install. I then tried it out and it worked well for my olympic weights. Would highly recommend if you need to adapt from standard to olympic.

Very solidly made. Doesnt feel cheap at all. Very tough I bought this to extend the weight horn on a particular piece of gym equipment. I had an 8 inch adapter, and could only fit so many plates. I bought this, and can now fit an additional 100 pounds of iron plates (not bumpers) on the horn, giving more longevity to said piece of equipment Nice, inexpensive upgrade over the 8 inch adapters

Not great but necessary. Length is perfect. I have it on their leg extension/curl machine but it slides off even if you over tighten. Still better than just putting 2” hole plates without the sleeve. Update: I drilled a hole into the arm, and now it stays fixed with no movement.

There's really not a whole lot to say I guess. The adapter was very easy to install and has worked very well so far. It hasn't come loose, bent or shown any signs of poort quality. Very pleased after a few months use.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE !!!! THE SCREW THAT GOES THROUGH THE PLASTIC DOES NOT THREAD THROUGH ANYTHING ON THE OTHER SIDE LIKE A SMALL NUT OR METAL PLATE - SO WHEN THE SCREW HITS THE POST TO TIGHTEN -IT PUSHES BACK -IT WILL NOT TIGHTEN--IT WILL JUST SPIN LIKE IT'S STRIPPED AND THE ADAPTER WILL NOT TIGHTEN DOWN---YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PULL THE ADAPTER OFF EASILY. THIS IS THE SECOND SET I ORDERED FIGURING THE FIRST SET WAS DEFECTIVE. ITS ACTUALLY A DESIGN FLAW-I REALIZED THIS WHEN I LOOKED AT THE SLEEVE ADAPTERS ON A MARCY HOME GYM THAT I AM ATTEMPTING TO REPLACE AND FOUND THAT THE REASON THEY (THE MARCY ADAPTER SLEEVES) TIGHTEN SO WELL IS THAT THEY HAVE A SMALL METAL PLATE ON THE OTHER SIDE THAT ALLOWS THE SCREW TO GET AS TIGHT AS YOU CAN TURN IT. THESE DO NOT HAVE ANY SUCH THING--ITS JUST A CHEAP SCREW THROUGH SOFT PLASTIC--DO NOT BUY THESE- JUNK !!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK !

The item is just as it is described. I didn't have any problems installing it onto my Body Solid leg extension attachment. It is a bit longer than necessary, but I'm not too worried about it. You can cut it to a shorter length if you'd like. I had no problems tightening it down with the allen key. I wouldn't tighten it as hard as you could, because I could see it breaking since it's a metal screw in plastic, but it seems to holding up and staying in place just fine after multiple uses. Probably best to keep it installed as well instead of taking it on and off. I would buy again.

Plastic seems fairly dense so it's not flimsy. Uses a small allen screw to tighten on the bar it's fixed to. Was nice to see the appropriate allen key included. The top comes off with some light persuasion if you need to shorten the tube. I'd happily recommend this product.

They work fine just wish that they were not plastic.

No me ha gustado nada, porque ni siquiera cabía una barra de 28 mm. Lo he comprado para nada. Y encima a la hora de devolver el producto, no ponen ni una facilidad. Por lo que tengo el producto en casa sin tocar.

Adattatore Olimpico per bilanciere da 22-25 mm, il vostro vecchio bilanciere diventa olimpico e si può usare con i pesi con diametro da 50 mm, ottimo per esercizi come rematore barra T essendo più corto il bilanciere risulta più maneggevole e caricabile al massimo anche fino a 100 kg.
