Instant upgrade to breakfast
I have only so far used these for eggs and am extremely happy with their performance and the ease of using. I did rub a little bit of ghee on the inside rim even though I'm not sure it would have been necessary. I allowed the heart to heat up in/with the cast iron skillet before cracking an egg into it. I just let it sit until the whites were nearly all finished then lifted the heart away and flipped the perfect heart-shaped egg-over-easy before serving. My daughter's plate looked so cute with little heart-shaped eggs on it. The handle is pretty nifty, it made it that much easier to lift away the mold from the egg and it turns down for flatter storage. the size is pretty big so if you are using eggs smaller than large it might not fill the entire mold. Probably extra large and jumbo are best. I have experimented with using two eggs in one mold and thought the result was adorable! Will update after trying it and probably also frittata and other things. This is a great way to easily and quickly add a little fun and visual appeal to any meal.

Cute and adorable
These quien great and are very easy to clean. They do not even burn when hard up and cooking with it. The description was completely accurate.

It works
Kind of functional. The bottom would cook and it would start puffing out of the top so I would turn the little handle and flip it upside down with the heart still in place. It mostly works it just gets really puffy and tries to puff out of the heart. I guess less is the best option

Great for special occasions!
So I purchased these in order to make heart-shaped blueberry pancakes for my hubby for Valentine's Day, and it had helped that I read some of the complaints in order that I could be prepared. I bought 2 sets for a total of 4, so that I didn't have as much work in between sets of pancakes. It is definitely a good idea to oil them before use, which helped the first round of pancakes not to stick too badly. After that round, I wiped off the excess batter as they got progressively messier with each round. The directions say to use 1/4 c of pancake batter, but I found that to be too much because they rise as they are cooking and come to the top of the rim, so in my first set I had some mess when I flipped them because there was too much uncooked batter on the top which ran over. However, easy solution, use less batter (about 1/2 to 2/3 of the 1/4 cup measure), and that helped a lot. I found that wiggling them a little bit to separate the batter from the mold helped, instead of just lifting the mold straight off; this prevented serious damage to the heart shapes. In addition, on the later rounds, I used a butter knife at an angle to separate the batter from the mold (just break the attachment of the batter from the mold, it doesn't have to be a perfect edge) before lifting the mold off, and it worked very well. They turned out a very nice pancake once I came up with some work-arounds. All in all, too much work for everyday, but worthwhile for a special occasion - Valentine's Day, birthday, etc., definitely turns out a nice product. And clean up isn't too bad, soak for a few minutes and wipe clean.

Egg leakage.
These were cute and did great with pancakes but can’t use them for eggs or anything else.

So cute, worked great for me!
So I listened to the good and the bad reviews and took a chance and couldn’t be happier! My egg came out perfect! I use a non stick pan and a little olive oil I put the silicone heart in and waited a little for both to heat up, once I cracked my egg I was able to use one hand to add a little pressure on the sides of the heart since the heat wasn’t bad to avoid leakage, and held for a seconds. Listen to the reviews and leave the silicone heart in until you’re done cooking so it holds its shape. I personally like my egg cooked all the way through, so I turn the handle on the heart down after about a minute of cooking. I add a bit of water to the outside of heart and cover the pan with a lid until it’s cooked through. The only thing “bad” for me, is it took a few minutes longer for my egg to cook but honestly it was worth the wait

Heart cooking utensils
The hard pancakes work really great there's only one problem that I feel the batter is really thick and to use the hearts properly they have to be filled a little over halfway up for the dough to rise to the top which is no problem but it doesn't seem to cook and like it should always start pancakes would be thinner not a half an inch thick every time you need to wipe the extra batter off of the heart before you reuse it and that's no big deal either because you really don't have to if it's a little wet it'll still release that's no problem

Novel idea, but not a great product
does not seal very well to pan when you pour the batter into it. Batter leaks out underneath so when ready to remove the ring, loses it's heart shape.
