My friends bought this for my husband who had a stroke in December and left his right immobile. His hand fingers curled up especially at night and it pained him greatly when his fingers had to be straightened, in accordance to his physiotherapist instructions, each morning. Within 24 hours of using this product his fingers are so much more straight and are in less pain. Pretty good start

Straps a little confusing maybe better direction sheet or possibly a different color on tip of the each strap. otherwise this splint is very comfortable for patient and easy to take off outside material and wash.

Two of the reviews stated that they ordered for L hand and got the right hand. But, they are wrong. I thought the exact same thing! I discovered that you have to bend the thumb piece down. This took some figuring out and experimentation on how to wear it and I finally did by looking at the pictures, especially the one with the numbered directions. It would be helpful if the company included words with the pictures in the package. That said, for the price (less than half of others on Amazon) this is great. I wear it at night to keep my fingers from curling up and it works . It is bendable in every direction and also helps with carpal tunnel syndrome. It is lightweight as well. I have washed it once and air dried it. I had to bend the thumb part in order to get the cover off and on. I'm happy with it. I deducted a star because of the initial confusion-- It might be helpful if the material was a little stretchy and instructions were included. I'm happy with it. It is lightweight and works even though my hand is small to medium.

I found this very hard, definitely not the soft foam I was expecting from the description and some reviews. It was particularly bad on the section against my wrist and forearm. It really couldn’t be shaped easily either, just like a stiff board. The finger separators felt too wide and uncomfortable, and it was a nightmare trying to bend the thumb bit into the right shape. Over all the whole thing felt so uncomfortable. It was making my wrist, hand and fingers start to tingle and increasing pin within minutes of wearing it. I will return.
