Provanto - Fungus Fighter Concentrate - Eradicates, Controls & Protects for Up To 3 Weeks - Garden Care, Plant Protection, Concentrated Fungicide, Use Indoor & Outdoor on Ornamental Plants - 125ML

I had about 50 box trees in my garden which suffered from a huge attack of box blight in 2020, many of the trees defoliated in a matter of days and I had no idea what had caused this to happen. I did some research and after identifying the fungus (a black line on the infected tree branches) I pruned the deadwood out, sprayed the trees with Provanto Fungus Fighter and 2 weeks later sprayed them with Top Buxus Health-Mix (available here at the time of writing). I continued doing this as per the instructions for the rest of the year and also during 2021. The results were amazing and I've added a box hedge as a result. I can't say that this is purely down to Provanto, as I did use another product and a different pruning technique, but this approach has seen my trees flourish. I will be spraying and pruning again this year (2022) in exactly the same way, fingers crossed the results remain positive. Other reviews: "The container is fiddly to open" Yes it is, but you don't want a child playing with this stuff. "It's expensive" I have about £4,000 with of box trees in my garden and there's enough fungicide to treat them for a year in this £10 bottle. "It's impossible to get it out of the container" I managed it, I just read and followed the directions. "It's a tiny bottle" Yes, but it's a concentrate and you dilute it. Theres enough liquid to treat 80 trees four times over. "Did not stop the problem" Combined with Top buxus and effective pruning, it stopped it for me. Look at my pics. "You need your own spray bottle, which is ridiculous" And when you buy tea bags from Amazon, you should really get a free cup eh? All in all, a great product which worked for me. I'm on my 3rd purchase.

Provanto Fungus Fighter Concentrate 125ML I've used this for a couple of years not an yes it works and is about the only treatment that seems to work on our fruit trees. BUT despite using several bottles of this over the last couple of years I cant help be always frustrated how difficult the lid is to use and moreover how easily broken the lid is ... Luckily I have some small lab bottles with ordinary tamper proof tops and I decant this into those ...washing out the provanto bottle to make the first spray bottle up. The lid system is a design disaster.

Honeysuckle treatment stops black leaves, had problems for years with fungus on leaves and leaves falling off until nearly bare. This has now worked for two years and the honeysuckle is flourishing like never before.

This product worked really well and cleared up the problems quickly. Only problem is the measuring system built into the bottle. I found it overly complicated. A little measuring lid would be much more user friendly.

I’ve been using this in alternation with Fungus Clear Ultra (a different type of fungicide) on my Escallonia hedge row badly affected by leaf spot disease. After a few applications of both, it seems to be working and has restored vigour. I had absolutely no issues with the dispensing system, just read the instructions and it’s no bother.

Last summer I struggled to get rid of fungus on my garden hedge using another well known product and was left with small amounts this year. This summer I have sprayed the laurel hedge 3 times and it's finally gone. The dispenser on the bottle is basically rubbish but by being persistent I was able to get the required amount. Absolutely works for fungus in my experience.
