Can anyone compare Dasuquin to Cosequin that is 1/2 this price? (the non-msm versions)

They are not exactly half the price of dasuquin. Cosequin is 30 cents per tab and Dasuquin is 42 cents. The amounts and type of ingredients are different. So it is hard to compare all the ingredients for cost analysis. Dasuquin contains avocado/soybean unsaponifiable powder and Cosquin does not. And it seems that there are more mgs of the other two ingredients in dasuquin.

I see this product come with and without MSM, What is MSM and what does it do?

How many pills for a 135lb great dane and a 165lb great dane?

I followed the directions on the bottle but gave my 180lb boy 2 pills for about a month and now he is on 1 pill a day. Don't give them more than 2 pills a day. I would give your fur babies 2 for 2/3 weeks and then maintain with 1.

How big are the tablets? Would they fit in pill pockets? That's just about the only way my dog will take anything. Thanks!!

They are rather large because they're chewables. They are approximately 5/8" diameter and 1/8" thick. You could break them into quarters and give them in the pill pockets designed for capsules but then you're giving a lot of pill pockets to your dog just to get one pill down, and they're high in calories and expensive. I really think you'd be better off using the soft chews and hiding them in the dog food by breaking them up into smaller pieces or trick your dog to think they're treats. Soft chews are similar to the heartgard chewable which is like a little square soft beef flavored treat. Try the smaller bag of soft chews first, so you don't spend as much money to test it out.
