Nice cooler for the money
Very well built cooler, and definitely keeps the ice solid longer than my old one.

Awesome!!
Love this cooler!! It’s AWESOME!! Live in south Texas, my husband is a fence builderv/ we have properties we maintain with mowing shredding / tree work etc...we are out side everyday all year. Summer in Texas is HOT!! Almost unbearable at times..some times when working fences there is no escaping the hot sun bearing down on you...only refuge is to get to the truck for something cold to drink!! For years used inexspenvie coolers....ice would be gone by that 2:00 o’clock afternoon hour when you really needed that cold drink the most...so I really couldn’t bring myself to purchase a $500 cooler ..but needed to make a change!! Found this one / read the reviews .. liked the price and thought okay...let’s try it...PERFECT!!!! Everything about it!! We use our cooler everyday! Arrived days before it was scheduled to arrive...was so excited to give it a go....loaded it with drinks large bag of ice...at first ice melted some what because drinks were hot and it was 97 degrees that day with heat index over 100....and cooler was in the full sun all day..put another bag of ice that evening...drained a little water that morning and haven’t looked back since....once it started cooling it hasn’t stopped!!!! Ice last for days!!! Loved this cooler so much I order a second one for my truck!!! Can’t find one negative to say about this cooler!!!Holds ice great!!! Love the camo color!! One of the best features is the clasp that secure the lid!!! Easy and strong...unlike with other coolers with pulling down hard rubber straps.... We’ve had lots of compliments on this cooler. Plan on purchasing one to give as a Christmas gift. Buy it...you’ll be so happy you did!!

Worked great for camping trip
Took on 4 day car camping trip with my 2 boys. Used 3 large Yeti ice packs from REI and about 5 smaller ice packs I got at Target. Filled Xspec with soda cans, bacon, sausages, hamburgers, steaks, orange juice, etc. Stayed cold for all 4 days. Solid build. Exceeded my expectations. Was worth getting. Although not cheap, it is significantly less than a comparably sized Yeti cooler from REI.

Excellent Performance and Design
I confirm all the positives written by other reviewers. Just know that this box - advertised at 31 lbs (but heavier) is MUCH heavier than my old 10 pound Coleman. I guess that's why they make such a big deal about the handles! Nevertheless, I like it..

6 day hunt
I do like this cooler! Well built. I used it solely for ice retention over a 6 day period. Once to camp I used tarps under a tree to shield it from the sun. In 4 days I hardly had any ice melt. Last two days it was opened a few times and by the 6th day probably had nearly 80% ice retention. That’s good considering daytime temperatures were upper 80’s.I have only one constructive criticism. The latches work great except when one hand is holding food! The latches will catch between lid and body making it difficult to adjust two latches to close the lid - with one hand. Getting that lid closed quickly is helpful to ice retention.

Hold ice like other types of more expensive ice chests.
I really like how durable the ice chest is and how it holds ice for several days. It's just the right size to fit in the bed of a truck or in a bear box when camping.

Keeps Ice
Cooler easily handled a 30 pack along with several water bottles and other items. We left the cooler outside in 100+ degrees weather for two days and there was still plenty of ice. After we brought it inside the ice lasted another 5 days. The cooler is well made and a quality product

Not latches, still has rubber stretch bands
We purchased this cooler specifically to avoid the rubber stretchy bands that disintegrate, stretch out, and break in the fluctuating high desert heat above 120F and freezing winter temps of our hometown climate. When the cooler arrived however, it did not have latches like we expected form the description and images, but stretchy bands attached to a sort of latch mechanism. These rubbery bands were the very material we were trying to avoid!!!Also, the cooler is pretty heavy empty - like over 30 lbs. When full of ice and food, this cooler will be at least 50 lbs and depending on what you put in here maybe over 60 lbs. Now, we are getting along in years and that is too heavy for us to lift and carry around. So we are now looking for a cooler with wheels - so we can roll it out and back. The capacity was perfect for our needs. We cannot buy a smaller cooler because we have significant food allergies and have to haul our own food wherever we go whether its a hotel or a tent or just a 2 hours drive to a doctors appointment, we have to bring all our own food. This cooler was deep enough for ice and cold things to be down below, with enough food for multiple days, and room for baskets on top for like breads and tomatoes to hold them out of the ice. If it was not for the weight, lack of wheels, and stretchy bands, we probably would have kept it.The camo color was great.Just found out that this cooler came from a 3rd party and it has a $25 return/restock fee. Now, we have to research an entire other cooler and hope it arrives without stretchy rubber bands to close it.
