1) I paid Rs. 200/- for this and it's a great product for the price, considering its quality/performance.2) The foam used in the sponge is very good quality and meant for car detailing; Sonax products are well known and perform well.3) It is great for applying and working polishes/waxes/sealants/tyre shine. But if you're going to use a compound by hand, then I would suggest the use of microfiber pads/towels instead of foam applicators like this one; microfiber gives you much more bite/cut than foam and you get much more paint correction for all your effort. But if you're using a finishing/refining polish, then foam is the better choice to get great glossy results.4) This applicator is a much better tool than those small round foam pads you usually see in the detailing world; it is much larger and much easier to use; fits nicely in the hand and you get more work done quicker; those small round pads concentrate all the pressure under your fingertips and your hands get tired due to the inconvenient way you have to hold them. I will never go back to those pads after having used this applicator.5) It is durable and lasts a long time; easy to clean; just wash in the machine with your other polishing towels/pads or press it flat repeatedly between your palms/fingertips in a warm water bucket with liquid detergent. Do not wash in very hot water; the foam might separate from the white base pad.In summary, a great tool to have in your detailing kit and I highly and heartily recommend it.Sorry for the long read but I've been doing this since years and love to share my experiences/learning with those who might be looking for it. Used for several years, good product for car washing but price is higher than similar products.

Excellent shape to hold.Has two surfaces, one for scrub off stubborn dirt and the soft bigger one for gentle cleaning of painted surface. Easy to clean. Just wet the car. Apply shampoo water mix using sponge and just was it off. 2 buckets of water n car stays glossy shiny for two weeks.I am using it with SONAX Shampoo. Superb product.

It's a great product and I have used it earlier also. Remove the dust and dirt by water force jet. Use this sponge along with car shampoo (preferably carnauba- wash & wax) to give a good shine with no ultra minor scratches). Use of poor standard sponges or wet clothes while washing the car may cause very light scratches which will be visible in day light, especially for dark colour paints.

Best sponge for car cleaning. It has one side hard and other soft. Combined the do very effective cleaning. In quality you can't compare it with general sponge.It's slightly expensive though !!

Seems to be a good quality sponge. Have been using Formula 1 Super Sponge for years now but thought I would try something new. Been using a number of other Sonax products so tried out the sponge.The main reason I have given 3 stars is not because of the product quality but because Cloudtail is selling the sponge for Rs 390/- when the MRP is Rs 360/-

Very good quality sponge, it can retain water and good for a perfect shampoo wash, no question of scratches with this, also it lasts longer with careful use.This is my second purchase of Sonax sponge.Thank you Amazon.
