The curtains matched my son's crib sheets almost exactly! They are very thin material, however, so definitely a lot of light can come through. I'm thinking of either adding blinds or sheers to help with the lighting and privacy. In my picture, you can see the yellow car across the street. That'll give you an idea on how thin they're made.

Misspelled words and fades drastically even using vinegar and color booster. Customer service was great and gave me a huge discount after complaining. So that was a definate plus since the item is very cute and my son loves it. I didn't want to return it.
