These little dishes are sturdy and high quality--I actually bought them not for creme brulee, but for cat dishes---they are a good shape and width for cats to eat without them getting perturbed because their whiskers are brushing against the sides of the bowl. I put the brulee bowls on a cake stand so the cat doesn't have to crouch on the ground to eat, and it works out very nicely.These get used a lot, and I have yet to have any hints of cracking---they are well made, and worth the $---and are still cheaper (and better quality) than the ridiculously high priced cat bowls you see at pet stores!
