Does it fit mq9087x? as i see that i can buy the grinder and blender together

If you are talking about the brand new Braun Multiquick 9 Handblender, the answer is quite possibly no, as Braun has redesigned both the Multiquick 9 & 7, especially the attachment point where the motor unit 'clicks' into any of the other attachments. The only set which has a motor unit which can fit onto the MQ60, is the Multiquick 5 Vario (mq5137) Sauce with Hand Blender. If you still want to use the MQ60, you will need to buy the MQ20, MQ40, and the MQ70 separately, as, unlike the mq9087x, the mq5137 - if still available from Braun's own website - does not contain any of those three, unlike the former. To be honest, I only got the mq60 as a spice grinder. It is less than ideal for coffee, as the mq60 is a blade grinder. If you want a coffee grinder, you'll need a conical burr grinder, as unlike the mq60, you cannot adjust how coarse, or fine, the grind will be, according to the beans, which especially important if you are looking for decent extraction ala espresso coffee. As such, there are better, stand-alone coffee grinders, that is better suited for that job. Hope that helps. Nigel.

Which models of the Braun Multiquick is this compatible with?

As far as I can tell, only the Barun Multiquick 5 Vario (MQ5137) ... but that may be discontinued soon ...

Is it suitable for making wet herb pastes like pesto

No ... This is a primarily a grinder, normally for coffee beans, but also other hard stuff, like spices. If you want something to make pesto with, you'll need a small chopper, like the Braun MQ20, depending on which motor you have ... Perhaps if you are using toasted pine nuts, you can grind them first into a powder using this, but, as it isn't a chopper/miniblender, it won't mix the pesto properly, so you'll need a MQ20, or larger, anyway. Hope that helps.

Quick and easy to use

Holds just the right amount for a few cups of coffee. Not the quietest grinder but very fast. If you want it coarse don’t grind for long if you want it fine grind for longer. No adjust as to how fine a grind just timing. If you want a quick easy to use grinder for your hand blender this works.

Disappointing...

After using the grinder many times with my MultiQuick accessory, the plastic "star" connecting part inside the clear plastic top snapped off, rendering the grinder useless. Maybe there is a replacement part? If so let me know.

This is just an attachement not an actual grinder

When I ordered this product, I thought I am getting a grinder that actually grind, considering the price tag of £47.14. When I was considering what to buy, the option for the whole set with 4 pieces of the motor and three attachments was £75.42. Therefore I assumed the small box and the blade should have a motor based on price difference: £28! I never thought that it is possible to charge £47.14 for just a box with a blade! no motor, no way of working at all. I had to return it from USA to UK which cost me $27.00. This was not a good experince!
