This is one of the few krill oil products I could find that uses fish gelatin caps vs the more common bovine gelatin. Due to alpha gal, I try to avoid mammal derived gelatin and it’s hard to stomach the taste of plain non encapsulated fish oil. So I’m thankful that this product exists even though it’s a little pricy. Next time I order, I’m going to take advantage of the savings on a 6 pack. I’ve purchased individual bottles 3 times so far. I’ve been very happy with this formula. It’s consistently fresh and feels high quality. The capsules are odorless, tasteless and easy to swallow. I don’t get gross fish burps. They don’t leak, stick together or clump. They are on the small side for krill oil caps. I do wish they were a little larger so they contained more of the active ingredients, but I just take 2 daily. Even though krill is naturally low in mercury, I love that they test for heavy metals.

Everest Nutrition contains 500mg of phospholipids; Mercola has 400mg, NKO: 400mg, MegaRed does not list phospholipids on their label. Astaxanthin content: This powerful antioxidant gives krill oil a real advantage over fish oils. It is also expensive so only the very best brands of krill oil will have decent astaxanthin content. Everest Nutrition krill oil has the highest astaxanthin content out of all the krill oil supplements that I researched. Here is how they compare: Everest Nutiriton: 1.6mg, Mercola: 1mg, NKO: 1.5mg, Megared: contains no astaxanthin. Based on this information, I chose to purchase Everest Nutrition krill oil because of the higher ingredient content as compared to other brands, and I am so glad I did! The difference this krill oil made in my health, well-being, and quality of life is nothing like what I anticipated. It truly surpassed all my expectations and I can confidently recommend it as the best value for krill oil on the market.

Very deceptive ad. The 1250 quantity is for 2 capsules not one. Also the cotton inside was glued to the capsules, had to throw many of them
