This SMARTSTANDARD 6ft Barn Door Hardware Kit was super easy for my husband to install. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit perfectly. The hardware feels very sturdy and looks great with our barn door. We’re really happy with this purchase—highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free installation!

Easy installation and so sturdy! My husband installed one in our old house and it was a few hundred dollars. This was so much cheaper and just as strong! The door on it is old and solid wood. Very heavy. It rolls so easily. I installed this myself and while I've watched my carpenter husband do stuff like this, I'd never done it myself, but I had no problems! I wanted a triple barn door, but didn't want the track to stick out so far, so I installed two doors on a bypass closet track ($15 at lowes) in the doorway, and the last door on this single barn door track mounted over a 1x6 pine board with 3.5 inch interior wood screws. The result is perfect! I can push all three doors to either side at the same time to have a very wide opening. I get lots of compliments! The only downside is the track itself came in two pieces and fit together in the center like a puzzle piece, but without a second person to hold it up, that part was tough but I still got it.

Easy to assemble for my handyman. Quality and size is great. I have purchased three and they all work well. Very pleased with my purchase. The look is super. Glides easy.

I could have used these on 200lbs or heavier set of 4in thick solid wood barn doors if I wanted. Just that durable. Instead, I did have a 3 in. thick slightly smaller than reg. size door I built for a shed. I wanted to make it a "sliding" type door since the space of the shed faces adjacent neighbor's property, and a regular open/close type door just wouldn't work. Everything with this product is heavy duty. You can go to the hardware store and swap out wood screws that come with this product for bolts. Also, the rail bar comes with user set rubber "stoppers" so a floor stopper separate purchase is unnecessary. Instructions are a little "Chinese'ish" in English, but the diagrams are spot on pretty effortless in set up. Since these are so heavy duty, only advice I would have is seriously examine whether your product/door will hold up using wood screws (packaged w/product) or be on safe side and securely bolt the door metal hangars to the door instead. All wood screws come with a rated max. weight limit. Leave that to you and your own project. Very happy here w/the result. Only drawback is, as durable as the black paint coat is, if the metal does scratch and I mounted mine outdoors, the metal does quickly show signs of rust.

Just what I needed. Well constructed and easy to install.

Wow this kit is made very well especially for the price. It's heavy steel and very good quality. It's clearly about half the cost of other kits that we looked at in local retail stores. We bought a slab door and stained it so for about $150 and some labor, we ended up with a nice detail item in a condo we were renovating. I had a hard time finding the actual installations instructions but after others commented about that issue, someone provided a link for much better instructions. I'd buy this kit again without question. Take your time on the installation. It's tricky to do it right but the end result is well worth the work!
